Ever feel like fixing your car yourself, whenever you are on a trip to countryside. But want the fix to be immersive with repair animations. This mod just does that !!!
Just get out of the car, get in front of the hood and press "F5" to fix it. See the repair interaction yourself.
Mod Requirements:
>> Script Hook V and ScriptHookVdotnet
>> LuaV plugin
Installation:
>> Install LuaV first by copying all the contents to your GTAV folder.
>> After that, copy the VehicleRepair.lua from the mod folder to "GTAV / lua" folder.
Credits:
DNX Chiliad Town map mod has been used in screenshot. Great map mod btw, hats off to Danix.
Checkout my other mod Dynamic Weather as well to experience different weather in different regions and altitude (climb your way to Chiliad peak).

Does it only fix the engine when the car is totally broken and not drivable ? It will be cool .
@skipper00123 Hmm, that might depend though. Some always want their car to look good while driving and want fixes even though the damages are small, I'm one. So, I made it that way. How would you like the interaction to look, when the car is not totally broken and drivable, but has small damages?
Is there a way to change the key combination, since F1 to F12 are usually the menu keys?
Hello, when I repair a vehicle that has an NpC driver, he can't wait that long he knocks me down and drives away. Wnen I try to repair it again, I get this error.

@fuguier Hmm, actually I tried it as well, but never thought anyone would. I mean like why would anyone try to repair the one that already has a npc driver in it? So, I'm sorry. For now just stick to getting npc out and repairing it. 😅😅
Enhanced support?
@Whohello Actually I have a crappy laptop with amd ryzen 5 5500u and its igpu; So, I just have a legacy copy from epic games and tested on it. I'm sorry for not having tested with enhanced version. But, as far as I know, if LuaV is supported on enhanced and corresponding ScriptHookV is used; then might work. But, I'm not 100% sure.

Just a tip, ScriptHookVDotNet isn't a requirement for LuaV or this mod, only ScriptHookV
And LuaV should also work for the enhanced version too
@ImperiusX Thanks for mentioning it. Yeah, ScriptHookVDotnet is not needed. I added it there from a template I had previously and missed it to take it down. I'm still not sure about the game natives on enhanced and haven't tested, whether the script works on enhanced or not.
