Install for addon vehicles (1min 22s tutorial only)
Tired of the stiff, upright motorcycle physics in vanilla GTA 5? (Or maybe not, but you just found this mod and it intrigued you.) Bring true track-day aggression to the streets of Los Santos. This mod completely overhauls the handling mechanics for all sports bikes (no choppers (like Franklin's Bagger), no dirt bikes, and no scooters) in the game, allowing riders to lean deep into corners just like real MotoGP professionals.
Features:
- Aggressive MotoGP Lean Angles
- Knee-Scraping Physics (ouch)
- Supports all in-game offline mode sports bikes, in total – 8 bikes (Akuma, Bati, CarbonRS, Double-T, Nemesis, PCJ, Ruffian, Vader)
- All bikes' other handling features stay almost the same as before
**Please note that there are no sparks effect like the one showed in the thumbnail. Would be a cool feature to add, but I don't know scripting, so I do not know how to make this effect exist.
Installation:
Automatic:
1) OpenIV
2) go to "mods/update/update.rpf/common/data"
3) Drag and drop my "handling.meta" into OpenIV which replaces the game's existing "handling.meta"
Manual (If you have handling mods installed beforehand, such as Drive V, etc, and you do not want to hamper your existing mod):
1) OpenIV
2) Go to "mods/update/update.rpf/common/data"
3) Go to "Manual" folder in my mod, open each .xml file, and copy the whole code
4) In OpenIV, "handling.meta", right-click, click on "Edit", Search for the vehicle, replace the code with the one you copied
5) Repeat for all the vehicles, or only a few ones, according to your desire

Changelogs
1.0: Base file
1.1: Added CarbonRS bike handling, I forgot to add it before
Credits:
Real Time Handling Editor by ikt (I used it to create my mod, and you can make yours too!)
In-game Screenshot by jedijosh920 (for all the cool, 'simple' screenshots I took without wasting time in Rockstar Editor)
AI Models, Gemini and ChatGPT, for guiding me a lot
How I made this mod:
1) Keep the vecCentreOfMassOffset Z-axis position to around -0.20 or slightly higher
2) Decrease the fSteeringLock to around 60% of the initial value, usually around 25-30
3) Increase fTractionCurveMax value & fTractionCurveMin value by 0.8
4) Increase fMaBankAngle value (the actual lean angle) to a value of 60-80, recommended is around 70
(Things get easier if you use Real Time Handling Editor by ikt, but as of right now, it sounds complicated.)
Now that I mentioned how to make your own mod like mine, please do not redistribute my mod anywhere without my permission.
For any confusions, you can feel free to comment, and leaving a review would be cool.

This so epic thank you so much. Will be better if acceleration and speed also. Also make handling more aggresive even leaning in high speed corner it will be ore than perfect Likely im port on the addon bike
08. Červenec 2026 -
@mustachepainter Welcome. Will see what I can do in the future :D
If you do it for addon bikes, I'd just recommend changing the values how I mentioned in the "How I made this mod:" section instead of copying a whole bike handling from mine and pasting into the addon.09. Červenec 2026 -
Looks like a amazing MOD ... can we use this handling also in addon bike mods? because i don't want to fuck up my game hahaha!!
09. Červenec 2026 -
@Kawafreak77 Hey! Yes you can install this mod in addon bikes, but you have to do it manually
Go to OpenIV, turn on Edit Mode, go to bike mod's location:
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/(bike mod folder)/dlc.rpf/data
Right click on handling.metaGo to my mod page, scroll down to "How I made this mod" section whiich is in bold for better visibility, and edit the values like I said
I'm uploading a YT video, check my mod Description second line (I uploaded it now)
09. Červenec 2026 -
@Eoin Gaming Yeah haha it finally epic. Im trying in Catalunya addon circuit and Laguna Seca one i found this 1 cons is only the low long speed corner and mid long high speed corner is have matched correct MotoGP lean angle otherwises a bit but still enough :)) If have any further in future maybe we can be like 93 xD
11. Červenec 2026 -
@mustachepainter If you're not satisfied enough with the results, try to decrease Steering Lock more, and increase the bank angle to around 80 and then you should get what you want :D
11. Červenec 2026 -
@Eoin Gaming Yeah thank you so much im trying all but yeah the limitation f game handling but still ok hehe but im found the solution. I need to do the stoppie skill go in high speed before go into corner like you know turn 1 in Catalunya it worked perfectly. It likely 80% in MotoGP game that more than im expeced :)) thank you so much for guiding
11. Červenec 2026 -
@mustachepainter ya no worries, enjoy! also I wanted to say this before but didnt, cool username xD

@Wyst_24 Cheers! I dont think any handling mod will ever crash the game
16. Červenec 2026 -
@Eoin Gaming Hey bro, nice mod! lemme ask you, which one of the xml configs should i use for the shinobi? or does it not matter?
29. Červenec 2026 -
had to come back and say my previous comment seems so dumb now ofc it matters with the different values and what not. think you can make one?
30. Červenec 2026 -
@eddiesanti0903 I had to search up Shinobi's file location from OpenIV
Location: mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/mpsecurity/dlc.rpf/common/data
You will find handling.meta, right click, Edit, search "Shinobi" and follow my "How I made this mod" section in my Description
Or watch my YT tutorial listen in my Description second linkTo find any vehicles' locations in GTA5, you can use the Search option in your home page in OpenIV, search for your desired vehicle, click on "Search ... in all archives" and you can find the vehicle's ingame location
Also handling files are .meta, not .xml like you mentioned
Hope this helps!
před 8 dny -
@Eoin Gaming Ahh gotcha i assumed the xml is what was influencing the lean. As you see I'm not super familiar with this stuff lmao i just know how to drag n drop 😂 but I will do this now and see what I get out of it.
před 8 dny -
@eddiesanti0903 Yea no worries, you will get it eventually on how to tweak with values and maybe make your own custom mods in the future :D

@Eoin Gaming Thanks for the helpful replies brother. Now it is time to lose a pair of kneecaps
