Information:
This mod changes the colors of the minimap with the ones from the original version of the game, while still keeping the additional details.
It also includes high quality 2D textures remade from scratch and the original scaleforms for North Yankton, the Bolingbroke Penitentiary, Fort Zancudo, the Kortz Center and the roads overlay for the Olympic amd La Puerta freeways
Requirements (Legacy):
- CodeWalker
- RageOpenV or OpenIV.asi ( included with OpenIV )
- OIV Package Installer

- CodeWalker. Note: download the latest version from the Discord server
- RageOpenV or OpenRPF
- OIV Package Installer
Installation (Legacy):
- Update RPF Content: use the OIV Package Installer or extract the files to import them manually

- Choose based on the version of the game build installed and import "minimap_main_map.gfx" in "mods\update\update.rpf\x64\patch\data\cdimages\scaleform_minimap.rpf"

@TJM08 OpenIV doesn't, but there's a new standalone tool (link is in the description) which can install OIV packages for both versions of the game
what files can I delete/replace to uninstall this mod? I have another map UI mod that conflicts with this one

@FastBurst Those parts aren't part of the minimap and they needs a script to be loaded (which I removed in a previous version) and I forgot to remove that part from the description.
@Alex106 I been looking for a map mod that shows the base and prison forever any chance we can get that back?
at least the pause menu map is what I am after I don't really pay attention to the minimap

hey，Why doesn't your current version use DLC for replacement, while the DLC method from your old versions still works

@JoyLucien I had to change the installation method in order to make the mod compatible with Bugstar Fixes
@simula64 Those require a separate script to be enabled (Simple Trainer has an option to do that)
Greetings and Salutations! I love this nostalgia so much that I have ported this resource into FiveM for my Roleplay Server. Only issue I have is that zooming in it loses quality. Definitely a skill issue and has left me flabbergasted... Absolute 10/10 though!
the map stills shows half the normal map how can i fix it?
when i zoom in and out the map switches from the Gen7 map to the original map

what does minimap_main_map.gfx do?
