Good Work Bro

@XMOD Awesome, thanks! I’ll definitely include you in the credits.

@theyesman2077
I assume you're using Simple Trainer; you need to disable the keybindings in the menu there and then save...

@TCRL

I'll take a look at that once I've finished my NFS mod. I use dlls5 x2 NR myself.

@Jayden69420

Thanks, but no—I have nothing to do with FiveM, sorry... I’m strictly a single-player gamer and modder... I’ll try to get the update finished, but as soon as GTA 6 comes out, I’ll be disappearing into Vice City for a while..

@theyesman2077 Good question, the description is too vague there — let me give you the real numbers.

VehicleMinSpeed is in m/s, and the valid range is 0 to 40 (so up to 144 km/h / 89 mph). Default is 8.0, which is about 29 km/h. It measures the peak speed of the last 1.5 seconds, not the exact moment of impact.

The menu only offers five fixed steps — 0, 30, 50, 80 and 120 km/h — so 60 mph isn't reachable from there. Set it in the INI instead:

VehicleMinSpeed=26.8 — that's exactly 60 mph (96 km/h).

Two things to watch out for:

After setting it, don't touch that menu entry ("Vehicle gore from"). Pressing left/right on it snaps to the nearest fixed step and overwrites your value.
One honest limitation: this threshold applies to peds who are standing. If a ped is already on the ground — ragdolling, prone or dead — the threshold is capped at 50 km/h no matter what you set. A standing ped gets thrown by the car, one lying down goes under the wheel, so I treat those differently on purpose. Driving over corpses after a shootout will still tear them up.

@MattyReady
Yes, that's built in — you can do exactly that.

Open the menu, go to Gore → Trigger, and switch it from "Any weapon" to "Only cfg weapons". From then on, only the weapons listed in scripts/DismembermentWeapons.cfg will dismember. Open that file, delete everything except the shotgun entries, and you've got shotgun-only gore.

Two things worth knowing so nothing surprises you:

Melee and explosions run on their own paths, not through that cfg. If you want strictly shotguns, also turn off "Melee Cut" and "Explosion dismemberment" in the menu.
Don't leave the cfg empty — in "Only cfg weapons" mode an empty or missing file means nothing dismembers at all. That's the usual cause when people report "it stopped working" after switching.

The cfg is one weapon name per line, e.g. WEAPON_PUMPSHOTGUN. Note it does double duty: the same list also defines which weapons count as "strong" in Damage-based mode, so trimming it to shotguns changes that mode too.

Excellent like allways🔥⭐️

@XMOD Thanks a lot, and welcome back! Just to be sure I understand you correctly: I'm fine to keep your 5 HUDs (Hot Pursuit, NFS 2015, Modern, Custom, Air) in my upcoming release, with full credit to you and a link to your original mod and the GitHub repo? The mod will be free, as always.

Forget to rate,... LOVE IT!
