First of all, this is my first mod. I hope you enjoy it! 🔥
### Why did I make this mod?
Most of the old drift mods I found didn't work anymore.
Some mods were mainly focused on spawning drift cars, but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.
So I decided to make my own drift mod.
### Which cars does the mod work with?
FWD cars: Doesn't work. As nature intended. 😎😀
AWD cars: Works on all AWD cars, but it works especially well on AWD cars with a stronger RWD bias.
RWD cars: Works on all RWD cars.
### Which versions are supported?
- LEGACY ✅
- ENHANCED ✅
### Does it support controllers?
Yes!
Controller support works perfectly on Legacy.
Controller shortcut: L3 + A/X
On Enhanced, controller input doesn't seem to respond. Honestly, I didn't spend too much time trying to get it working. :D
### Can the key bindings be changed?
Yes!
You can easily change the keyboard and controller key bindings from the **INI file**.
### Installation
You need:
- ScriptHookV
- ScriptHookVDotNet 3
- LemonUI.SHVDN3
Place the required files inside your GTA V **scripts** folder.
Your folder should look like this:
```
GTA V
└── scripts
├── LemonUI.SHVDN3.dll
├── Driftmod.dll
└── Driftmod.ini
```
Make sure **ScriptHookV** and **ScriptHookVDotNet 3** are installed correctly before launching the game.
### Controls
**Keyboard:** Press **F4** to toggle Drift Mode.
**Controller:** Press **L3 + A/X** to toggle Drift Mode.
You can change the controls at any time by editing **Driftmod.ini**.
Enjoy the slide! 🏎️💨

Finally the mod i also looking for, getting tired of editing handling manually, didn't tried it yet but will, also i have question does upgrading engine etc. also affect the car's speed?
@Mrhaqqim2
I hope it works the way you’re looking for!
Engine upgrades do affect the car’s acceleration during drifting, so more powerful cars will build up drift speed faster. However, I set the maximum drift speed to 85 km/h (about 53 mph), so it won’t go beyond that. ^^
yo buscaba mas un mot de que los npc drifteen cuando las llantas se ponchen jaja porque lo iva a combinar con un mod de que los autos se volteen y rueden como en gta 6 hehehe
@cesar jostheen RTX Ahhh I see 😂 That sounds pretty fun! Unfortunately, that's a bit beyond what my mod can do right now haha 😅
L3 is too easy to press unintentionally. That's the reason I remove the horn control entry from standard.meta. Incredibly annoying to be honking the horn unintentionally while navigating a corner in a vehicle. It's also the reason I set crouch to a different controller button. Make it possible to change it to another button, please?
@IreBurn You can already change them if you want. Just edit the ControllerModifier and ControllerToggle values in the INI file and set them to whichever buttons you prefer.
