you can't just put the name "Shrewsbury" on an AK47 to make it lore friendly... needs a lot more work than that. This is bare minimum tbh

At first glance this just an AK model that looks like it could come from any other game.
The only lore friendly addition is the single Shrewsbury text decal near the pistol grip... and the mod description?

What else was changed to make it lore friendly? Any logos or stamps on the other side of the gun that you didn't include in the photos?

Whats significant in the credits? That you had help from other mod authors?

@ConnorGTAVmods Every singel mesh and texture came from Rockstar assets. Assault rifle, assault rifle MKII, compact rifle, heavy shotgun. That's it.

I suppose in a way I should take this as a great compliment that you think my gun mod is so amazing that it must have been a real AKM with lore decals added.

In my original comment I meant that there should be more unique Shrewsbury identifiers, like a stamp of the logo in the metal or something, and I still think thats the case

But I'll re-download it and give it another shot now that I know that, sorry again for the misunderstanding

@ConnorGTAVmods I don't think there is an issue of stampings, identifiers or decals on the rifle. After all, it perfectly imitates the vanilla assault rifle. A lot of people get too messy with decals. Less is more, no?

Slick's AK mod was the inspiration behind my Stamped Rifle. Without that, and without Slick, this mod wouldnt exist.

@CallieKills Agree to disagree, it's your creation after all. But I like your Vom Feuer Combat Rifle and the way you lore-ified that, for example.

And I just realized this was posted in 2022, make more lore friendly weapon replacers! I've got no issue with slick or his mods, and it makes total sense this was based off of his, its basically a remaster lmao.

@ConnorGTAVmods I don't make mods anymore. I am still involved in certain GTA communities but I haven't had the time or means to do more modding, even if my brain is still full of ideas. The Combat Rifle, just like the Stamped Rifle, is made entirely out of R* source assets. It was never a real rifle.

I surely hope you are not giving my mod a 2 star review because you do not like how many decals are or are not on the gun?
