If you like flying as well as shooting down things in GTA5, but the empty skies and little choise leave limited fun - this mod will be your salvation!
Nothing fancy, just manually altered the vehiclemodelsets.meta to include DLC-planes to its spawn groups, for I always wanted to have more and different kinds of targets to go after.
Use of mods-folder and OpenIV is required. For more details, check out the readme-file.
Update / expansion 3.0 (for current and older versions):
MP-Smuggler DLC planes will now spawn with certain liveries and with their tuning parts / weapon attachments! > See new screen shots.
Update and FIX 2.5 (still for vers. 3788)
Fixed a syntax error and added a few altered scenario ymt-files, which intent to expand plane spawn cycles on the counrtyside. Installation instruction have been put into the readme-file.
This is WIP and more may follow with future updates.

By any chance, do you know how to add code for more peds (planes) or a recommended game config which does it?

That sounds very nice! So to put an add-on plane which name should i put in the file, their dlcpack folder name ?
@Audinokill I use the model name, which should be more or less the same, unless the desired model comes in a pack.

@Senf-Man So this Mod only spawns DLC planes with or without on-board weapons?
Can the planes fire back at you if shot at?
@nj5050 The regular planes still spawn here and there. Those of the dlc planes with weapons, won't have them removed just because they spawn in SP. If they shoot back at you, only depends on the NPC being put behind the stick (some have an aggressiv behavior profile). It's very rare, but they shoot back. You'll see a red dot over the bue plane icon on your minimap.

@gdfGDS44 It involves a meta-file and I didn't notice a better category in the upload process for it. But it's good to see people focussing on such important details and belittle new contributers. Otherwise one could forget for a hot second how much mankind actually sucks^^.

This mod doesn not work for me it, it removes all ariel vehicles from the sky.

@Senf-Man I have other mods in vehiclemodelsets.meta so how do I want to add these mods so that these and other mods can work in the game?
@aldian0 Use notepad++ open both files, identify the altered sections of one and copy to overwrite the corresponding ones in the target file. Alternatively use winmerge, which lets you compare and it higlights the differences for you to merge.
Hi! I just wanted to say that your mod is absolutely amazing — I only recently discovered it and I'm already blown away by it.
I have a question: would it be possible to make this work in GTA Online? I play in a solo online lobby with BattlEye turned off, so I'm not worried about getting banned. I was just wondering if you'd consider making it compatible for that kind of setup.

@Ziran-1011 Thanks for your vote, it is very much appreciated. Regarding your request, I don't think I can help you with that. The only thing you could try, is to install the mod outside your mods folder, but I doubt it would actually work or not cause issues. Other than that, I know of no specific method to make such mods compatible for online play, I am sorry to disappoint.
