  • @ceejay01 Honestly, I didn’t plan it that way at first. The idea was to let you use N.O.S. on pretty much any supported car right away.
If you really like a car and want to make it “yours”, you can just save it and keep servicing it in Los Santos Customs.
But yeah, I might add a separate mode where N.O.S. has to be bought/installed first.

  • @muwa0070 Hi! Could you confirm whether you installed all the required dependencies listed in the description, including Script Hook V and ScriptHookVDotNet Enhanced [Legacy + Enhanced]?

  • @BoBo-Acilia Sorry, this is my mistake. Version 1.0 and version 1.7 use different DLC packs, so there may be a conflict if files from the old version are still installed.
In version 1.0, the old DLC pack was:
    dlcpacks\N.O.S - Nitro Overdrive System\
In version 1.7, it was replaced by:
    dlcpacks\cinematicnitro\
    dlcpacks\nos_statefx\
Please try a clean installation of the mod: remove the old N.O.S. files and the old DLC pack completely, then install version 1.7 again.
I’ll also release an update relatively soon that will clean up these issues and make the installation/update process safer. I’m also adding a dedicated Flame Size setting with Small / Medium / Large options.

  • @Volossya99 Hi! Unfortunately, I discovered this bug quite a bit later after the release. I’m already aware of the issue and currently working on a fix. It should be resolved in the next update.
For now, you can open ScriptHookVDotNet.ini and configure a key for reloading scripts. If the menu stops opening after saving, use that key to reload the script mods, and Traffic and Player Recorder should start working again.
However, I can’t guarantee that the race you tried to save was actually saved correctly before the bug occurred.

  • @BoBo-Acilia I just want to clarify: are the flames on your setup about the same size as in the video attached to the mod page, or are they noticeably bigger?

If you find a bug, please leave a comment and include your GTA V version: Legacy or Enhanced and briefly describe what happened.
Suggestions for new mechanics and features are also welcome.
I’ll also be happy to answer any questions about the mod. 🔧

  • @BoBo-Acilia Thanks! Yes, PS5/DualSense controller support is planned. Basic gamepad controls will be added first, and I’m also considering integration with Native PS5 DualSense [Legacy] by WreckitRy in a future update.

  • @sjaak327 I’ve wanted to leave a comment like this for a long time.
Back in the GTA IV days I was still just a kid, but I was already completely fascinated by GTA modding. I spent countless hours experimenting with mods, messing around with the game, spawning things, trying different options and simply having fun, and Simple Trainer was one of those tools that was always there.
Then GTA V came out, and once again your trainer became one of those mods I used for years. It’s honestly difficult to even estimate how many hours of fun this little menu has given me across two generations of GTA.
The funny thing is that I’m only writing this now. For all those years I was just a user downloading mods from the community. I only recently finally registered on GTA5-Mods because I started developing and publishing my own mods here.
And that makes this comment feel strangely special to me. After so many years of using tools made by people like you, I’m now creating my own things for the same game and sharing them on the same site.
So I just wanted to say thank you. Not only for maintaining Simple Trainer for so long, but for all the memories attached to it. Your work was genuinely part of my GTA experience growing up, long before I ever imagined I would become a mod developer myself.
Much respect, and thank you for all these years of fun.

  • Amazing mod! I tested the Legacy version with the latest ScriptHook.NET Enhanced Plus Legacy, and everything works great on my side. 5 stars from me!

I'm developing N.O.S. – Nitro Overdrive System, and I’d love to add native integration with your mod, especially for the adaptive triggers. It would be really cool to use trigger feedback for nitro activation, unstable nitrous flow, engine misfires, system failures, and other immersive effects.

Does your mod currently have any API or another way for external scripts to control the adaptive triggers?
