Inspired by the saddle storage in Red Dead Redemption 2, this mod adds primary and secondary weapon storage to your vehicle whilst removing the unrealistic behaviour where guns disappear the moment you enter.
Features:
Weapon persistence in vehicles
Pistols and micro SMGs remain equipped when entering a car
No more disappearing weapons on vehicle entry
Fully animated interactions
Pickup audio feedback
Consistent combat readiness
Exit the vehicle with your weapon already in hand with no delay or forced draw animations
Side seat weapon storage - Store or retrieve your weapon while driving
Boot (trunk) storage
Controller-focused design - Simple D-Pad controls - No menus or UI
Controls:
In Vehicle (Driver) - Hold D-Pad Right
Store and retrieve equipped weapon
At Vehicle Boot - Stand at the rear of the vehicle
Press Dpad Right to open/close (configurable in ini)
Hold D-Pad Right to store/retrieve equipped/stored weapon
(configurable in ini) - use version 1.0.3 for ALL Dpad right
ONLY WORKS WITH COMPATIBLE VEHICLES

@ChargedKILO Great mod, works perfectly. The only thing left to fix is the bicycles. It's possible the animation bug also exists on the ATVs (they theoretically don't have a glove compartment either).
@ChargedKILO I just tested it. You need to remove the weapon draw function from bicycles, modcycles, and all offroad quads. All of these vehicles have a bug with the brushes. None of them have a glove compartment. Surprisingly, boats work perfectly. You need to leave the draw animation only on cars and boats. Fix this and the mod will be perfect.

@ChargedKILO Friend, I found another bug. The mod doesn't work. If you change the weapon's color, then when shooting from a car, the color will be the default when the character holds the weapon and change instantly when shooting.
@ChargedKILO The animations are now working without bugs, thanks for the fix. However, custom colors don't work correctly; while driving, weapon colors and upgrades are reset to default values. This may also cause the game to crash if you try to put upgraded weapons in the trunk of a car.
