Description
This script lets you manually reload by adding a bullet to every weapon and stopping firing at 1 bullet, this means it's currently deactivated on the double barrel shotgun and any other weapons that don't use magazines (RPG for example). This does mean however that it should be highly compatible with weapon mods. You also cannot switch empty weapons to reload them like in the base game.
There is an included .ini file for some basic settings, you can change the audio files to whatever you want, just make sure they're the exact same name including the format!
Installation
Drop the .dll(s) and folder in /scripts/

I don't think a proper manual reload script is possible with C# (.NET),
it requires memory editing (C++) like the "Realistic Reload" script that has been broken since 2022.
Also, which line has to be changed in the weapons.meta?

good mod but the empty ammo sound files are way too loud. Could you make a version with at least half the volume?
@Elzimbabwe just lower the sound files, they are fully customizable

broken, if you switch between a weapon with no ammo and a weapon with ammo it'll still be able to fire two shots
@Basil_TBL Hello friend, your mod stopped working in the latest game updates. I hope you update the mod.
Just played for a couple hours and it seems to be working again, not sure why it stopped working with the previous update and not this one but I wont complain
i was using the "realistic reload" mod on version 2372, but i came across this mod and switched because it’s much better. it provides different empty-mag sounds for each weapon and is customizable, and most importantly, it lets you run when your magazine is empty.
@Basil_TBL Nah i think it's loud too how do i lower the sound files?
ok nvm i edited the files with audacity all good now!
whenever i shoot it goes good then when i run out of bullets ect the script works but since i cant see how much bullets i got left if i shot one more time while the clip is empty it says something about missing sound file, well it has something too do with the reload missing sound so could someone help me out ?
@LowrtK4 Did you put the folder in /scripts/? SHVDN update might've broken it, updated file is awaiting admin approval
@Basil_TBL um yessir brother i indeed followed the instructions that was put down in the desc ive even tried to reinstall into the scripts folder too see if i did something wrong and it still done the samething, yea tbh it prolly was an update nice mod tho
works really good, only issue is autoreload still happens in vehicles and the one bullet still shows up in order to force the manual reload which is probably unfixable so it's a nitpick
@Basil_TBL Thanks for this mod was enjoying it a lot i have found it stopped working its clashing with
VitalityPlus+ [.net] v4.0, if you run both mods the automatic reload from game still happens any idea why
@Hsd unoptimized script, it overloads my script meaning it cant update fast enough to work
