@dense Nooo quite the opposite. That's the problem. I am seeing no increase at all. I "should" see too many peds with these high values, but I only see vanilla amount. Basically there is no change at all :( and I want to increase the ped density, make the streets look like real populated Los Angeles streets :(

Basically I installed your mod and didn't see any difference at all. and I thought maybe the values are not high enough so I increased them 10 times but there is still no difference at all. and I don't have any other mod installed.

@Aurora11 first of all make a backup of your real game config and then change these values of your real game config:

Then rename your mod folder to any other name like modse.

@Aurora11 I also use these settings it works for me but I don't know why it isn't working for you. Maybe you installed any other mod which causing this problem.

@dense I thought so too and just copied the game files from my backup (I was backed up my game in case something goes deeply bad). The only things in game area Scripthook, asiloader, openiv.asi and gtav heap adjuster (game gives out of memory error without it so..). and nothing else.

However today I saw someone made a topic about the exact same issue I am experiencing i gtaforums. He said he can change anything's density (cars, birds, fishes etc..) except ped density, which is the exact same thing I am having. Then he said he made a mod that changes the ped density but unfortunately he says he got banned from gta5-mods and his mod no longer avaliable :((( I wish I could have a way to download it somehow, it's honestly the most thing I want for the game..
For me, the most good thing makes the singleplayer better than online is there are slightly more ped spawns and animal spawns. So I thought about having the game a lot more populated but no luck so far :((

I wanted to ask something from you if it's not too much. Can you try increasing your values in the gameconfig a lot, really a lot just to test. I wonder will it make your game extremely crowded like lots of npcs everywhere or is it not going to effect much.

@Aurora11 I've tried increasing it a lot but my game couldn't take the load so it crash after opening. And then I run it on my settings it runs I don't why it isn't working for you

@Aurora11 download this mod once again and copy the game config from the 2nd.file in the mod and test your game. Use mods folder instead of your real game file because in real game file game config automatically changes its values due to the graphics settings you have in your game. Mod link:

@dense I downloaded it. It changed vehicle density but not the ped density :(( as always.. :/

@dense I'm very upset about this :( Found this mod https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/a-new-gta which is working. but the problem with it is, well.. It's not actually increasing ped density, it's handplacing lots of peds many places and therefore increasing the ped amount. The problem however amount of peds still being the vanilla at the places the mod doesn't handplace peds. Like Winewood Movie Theater :( There are .ymt files at scenarios folder but they are encrypted I think. Notepad++ not properly opening it, also tried extracting as .xml from OpenIV but still didn't work :/ At least I can see more peds at most places now though..

I saw some cars spawning without drivers but this happened when I used some mods that increasing traffic variety. I think I need to increase PedsForVehicles_Base value and PedsForVehicles value in gameconfig.xml .
