Have GTAs trailers ever bothered anyone else? They've always bothered me, so I decided to fix them..
This mod:
1. Removed side underride guards and fenders from all trailers.
2. Changed rear bumper to proper ICC bumper on all trailers
3. lowered the floor on box trailers
4. Lowered the 'Big Goods' trailer to an appropriate height, and lengthened it to ~53'
5. Removed the curtainside body from the container trailer, and added more containers
6. Turned the driller trailer from the heist setup 'Driller' into a lowboy
7. Made the flatbed used in the heist setup 'Minisub' slightly skinnier
8. The standard flatbed is now a ~45' spreadaxle
9. The 'Fame or Shame' trailer is now a proper dropdeck
This mod is in a fairly early state, and I still have a couple trailers to modify, and a couple bugs to figure out how to fix, so stay tuned for updates!
Installation Instructions:
Drag and drop the contents of the 'models' folder into x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf
The 'files' folder contains a modified carvariations.ymt . This file is not strictly necessary,
and just allows the 'trailers' container chassis to spawn in multiple colors.
Replace it in update\update.rpf\x64\data .
I also included the modified text for the carvariations.ymt file in a separate text document in the 'files' folder for anyone who already has a modified carvariations.ymt .

0.4: Re-edited trailers2(Cluckin Bell) and trailers3(Big Goods) to fix lods and make their overall appearance more realistic.

Changing the stupid gta wheel rims to correct trailer rims would be good idea
@bastimindless I turned the machine into an extra, so you can remove it with a trainer as shown in the video

I wanna use this for FiveM but it's a replace.
@Rytor10 sorry, I don't know anything about FiveM or modding for it. If you can find someone else that can get it working for you, they're welcome to use my models though.
Nice job. The landing gear on the Big Goods trailer sits a little far foreward though so the hauler conflicts with it.
@Van_Zandt I'm aware, the problem is actually that the hauler's fifth wheel plate is too far forward. I'm planning on releasing an edit for it, as well as the other vanilla trucks, at a later date.
As an aside, one of the trailers already has this problem, even with no mods, I don't remember which one though
Are lowered cars able to go under your trailers? Currently working on a Street Racing RP. That Feature is the last mod i need. Great work so far bro !
@JohhnyBlane Cars can definitely go underneath the van trailers (trailers2 and trailers3). Low cars should be able to go under the other trailers as well, but I haven't specifically tested for that.
