0.9.5 [BETA] Legacy
By VirtuOzZ
@brendan62 Thanks for the useful information. I’ll add a backwards compatibility patch in one of the upcoming QDS updates.
@brendan62 QDS was mainly designed for machinima, with compatibility focused on Scene Director, Simple Native Trainer for GTA V, Menyoo, and Traffic and Player Recorder.
I’m still looking into support for older ScriptHookVDotNet versions and older script mods, and may improve backwards compatibility if possible.

This is honestly the best racing mod I’ve ever tested in GTA V during my 10 years on this site.
For anyone wondering about the current state of the mod: there is active development happening on GitHub, and the latest version can already be downloaded and tested there. For some reason, the updated build hasn’t been uploaded to GTA5-Mods yet.
Huge respect to Eddlm for continuing to work on ARS. It’s an incredibly unique mod, and nothing else I’ve tried comes close to it when it comes to creating proper races in GTA V.
Really hoping to see a new official update here on GTA5-Mods someday!
@brendan62 Please name a few examples of older script mods that no longer work with the latest ScriptHookVDotNet. I’ll run some tests, and if I can reproduce the issue, I may release a compatibility patch.
At the moment, QDS on Legacy works alongside Scene Director, Ghost Replay, Map Editor and Menyoo, and I haven’t noticed any compatibility problems.
T&P Recorder.NET 0.9 Beta is now available!
This is one of the biggest updates to the mod so far. Version 0.9 introduces the new combat system, including Passenger Combat, configurable targets, weapon settings, fire intensity, and support for built-in vehicle turrets.
The update also includes many bug fixes, stability improvements, and workflow refinements.
This was the final major feature planned before Version 1.0. From this point, development will focus mainly on bug fixes, optimization, polishing, and a few smaller improvements, so future updates should arrive faster.
Thanks to everyone who tested the mod, reported bugs, and supported the project. 0.9 Beta is available for download now.
@Volossya99 Hi. I’ve mentioned in the mod description that additional tools such as Menyoo, Simple Trainer and Scene Director are recommended for preparing characters, vehicles and scenes.
T&P Recorder is designed to work together with these tools rather than replace them. You can use a trainer to change your character, spawn another vehicle, set up the next actor and then record the next take.
Please use one of the recommended trainers for this workflow.
I may improve this workflow in future updates, but for now this is the intended way to use the mod.
@sfsastudios Hey! I found the issue.
I accidentally had an outdated ScriptHookVDotNet version linked in the Legacy requirements. T&P Recorder.NET currently requires ScriptHookVDotNet 3.7.0.
I've updated the link in the mod description, so please download and install the current version and try again.
Sorry for the confusion!
@Aniruddhagp Hey! Glad to hear it's working now.
The FPS drop / increased traffic density issue was already fixed in the latest patches included with the most recent update.
Could you please confirm which GTA V version you're using: Legacy or Enhanced?
On Legacy, this issue should already be fixed in the current version.
On Enhanced, this problem can still occur.
Hey everyone! Update 0.9 is taking a bit longer than expected. I'm currently working on Combat Settings, a feature for creating shootouts between recorded Player Takes, including the use of built-in vehicle turrets.
I'm also fixing bugs from previous versions and improving overall stability.
There's no release date yet. Thanks for your patience, feedback, and support!
@Pinkjughead01 Enhanced support has already been added in the latest updates. It's clearly stated in the mod description, along with all the required dependencies.
Please take a moment to read the description and check the latest updates before requesting features that are already available.
Honestly, I'm starting to wonder if you've even downloaded and tested the mod before asking these questions.
