@esschrieck try now, i have updated the mod and now it uses a different installation method.

Fixes & Improvements update's new installation:
Someday I'll try to create an automatic installer to make the installation even easier

To install the mod, you must
1. Extract the "New Death Sounds For Peds Fixes & Improvements" folder to your desktop
2. Open OpenIV
3. Go to mods/x64/audio/sfx/
4. Open the mod PAIN.RPF folder and drag the files from the folder containing the .awc files into the GTA 5 PAIN.RPF in OpenIV
5. Exit the PAIN.RPF in OpenIV and open S.MISC.RPF
6. Open the mod S.MISC.RPF folder and drag the .awc files into the GTA 5 S.MISC.RPF folder in OpenIV
7. Enjoy the mod

[EXPERIMENTAL VERSION] Added
This is a test version, as I'm working on improving it and adding more realism, for example, to headshots and the moans when a pedestrian enters “writhe” mode.

So if there are any bugs such as audio not always working, that's to be expected since it's a test version. Even so, I'd recommend installing it since it already includes those improvements.

It doesn work for me, every person is now quiet when i shoot them. Any help please?

@Mihael_123 Which version did you install? That issue was present in some older versions of this mod, but I've already fixed it.

Im using the newest version and I really dont know what could be causing the issue, I dont have any other mods installed.

@Mihael_123 That's weird, it should be working fine, try to reinstall it again maybe something is off

did anyone here have the original x64 file,PAIN or S_MISC file?i use this mod,it's very good but i need to delete it to make a companion with other mods,yesterday i accidentally dowload it right into the direct folder instead of turn it into a mod,now my game is mess up and idk what to do D: i use gta steam version but for some reason i can't redowload or verify game files(don't know why...)

@Ali Osama Hi, how are you? Here, I'll explain the differences between the mods and recommend which one you should install.

GTA IV Death Sounds simply adds the death sounds from GTA 4, it's still in development.

[M.H.D.S] is just a tweak to the game that removes the groans from pedestrians and the player when they take a headshot, but it’s only a small change.

[H.S.M] adds the typical sound from games like Counter-Strike when you land a headshot.

[PP&DSI] the one you’re currently on has the most content: screams when falling, screams when on fire, screams when dying, or when pedestrians are startled. They’re realistic, so I recommend [PP&DSI] if you want realism.

@Ali Osama I think those mods over there only change the death screams [just the ones in the S_MISC.RPF folder], so the ones in PAIN.RPF would still need to be changed, In my mod, I replaced all the missing ones in both S_MISC.RPF and PAIN.RPF, which is where all the ped's death screams and pain sounds are located.
