OnTheBlock turns GTA V Story Mode on PC into a living street roleplay sandbox. Police build cases from evidence, gangs remember pressure, traffic stops and crashes have consequences, and the city reacts to what you do.
Version 3.2.747 - the community fix wave
- Every issue reported here and on Discord, root-caused and fixed, on both Legacy and Enhanced.
- Fixed the GTA Enhanced story-mode load crash.
- Setting a custom dealer model in the INI no longer crashes the game at load.
- A missing NAudio.dll no longer stops the whole mod - only voice disables.
- Buying a stash house can no longer break the mod. The dealer save file now heals itself and keeps a backup.
- Killing a gang member finally triggers the full reaction: rip posts, witnesses and police, like any other kill.
- Masks matter in vehicles: a masked driver in a car not registered to you gets a vehicle BOLO instead of personal tickets and insurance claims.
- Selling to walk-up customers works on controller and next to your stash car, with a new rebindable sell key.
- Hired workers survive save and reload, hold their corner, and can now be fired from their menu.
- The weed farm can no longer strand you inside, and the entry warp waits for solid ground.
- The Crew Command overlay can no longer get stuck on screen.
- Dance moved off Shift+D (it fired every time you sprint-strafed) to Ctrl+K, and is rebindable.
- Stale enemy and tip blips clean themselves up. The studio door moved to a real studio lot.
- Map turf labels now show the umbrella gang, so the map matches the Shift+G gang picker.
- New: pay to squash beef with one gang from the phone Hood tab instead of wiping everything.
- Your own gang no longer turns on you from accidental friendly fire.
- New [GANGS] INI section: rename gangs and override their sets and ped models to match retexture mods.
- Keybind expansion: SELL_CONFIRM_CONTROL, DANCE, CONTROLS_HELP, PHONE_PANIC, PUSH_TO_TALK, CLIQUE_MENU, GANG_PICKER, plus a configurable worker cap.
- Text chat with NPCs works without a Groq key (only the microphone path needs one).

@eddiesanti0903 the paid distinction I can verify is NPC conversation/live voice. I do not have a verified Shift+A or Shift+D remap setting to point you to. The current documented conflict setting is PHONE_OPEN_DPAD=false for D-pad Left. Tell me Legacy or Enhanced and the exact action you want changed so I can verify it.

@eddiesanti0903 appreciate that bro. The Shift-heavy controls are fair feedback. F10 shows the current control map; some keys are configurable and some are fixed, so if one is clashing, drop the exact combo in Discord and I'll check that binding instead of guessing.
@Thomas_141 yes. OnTheBlock supports both Legacy and Enhanced, and Legacy is the main dev-tested path. On Legacy use the classic Legacy ScriptHookV plus official ScriptHookVDotNet v3.7.0-nightly.167, install the full current OnTheBlock package, and fully restart GTA.
@eddiesanti0903 yep, Discord is best: discord.gg/wGFnJtR82D. Post the clip in install-help or gameplay-feedback with your exact OnTheBlock build and say Legacy or Enhanced so I can match it to the right setup.
@Xzrvde yep. Press Shift+G to open Set/change gang, or open the OnTheBlock phone, go to Hood, and choose Set/change your gang. Shift+C is the separate clique and crew menu.
Until translations into other languages appear, this mod will be very difficult to understand.
The gang territories some are in other gang spawn areas, the piru territory is in families area but the mod has them as bloods.
