Niko Bellic for Michael (GTA IV to GTA V)
This mod replaces Michael De Santa with Niko Bellic from Grand Theft Auto IV.
Background
A few months ago I released a Niko Bellic mod that included both in-game and cutscene facial animations. While it worked, I wasn't completely satisfied with the quality. Over the following two weeks I completely rebuilt the project from the ground up to create a much higher-quality version.
Features
. Fully replaces Michael with Niko Bellic
. High-quality port of the original GTA IV model
. Original GTA IV:
. Head
. Hair
. Jacket
. Shirt
. Pants
. Shoes
. Hands
. Supports both in-game and cutscene facial animations
. Can also be installed to replace Trevor or Franklin
. Includes proper GTA V material/spec textures for improved visual quality
Known Issues
. The head may clip through some outfits.
. The hair may occasionally clip through the back of certain jackets.
If you discover any additional bugs, please let me know and I'll do my best to fix them in future updates.
Installation
1. Create a mods folder if you do not already have one.
2. Copy the x64v folder into your mods folder.
3. Open:
mods x64v models cdimages\streamedpeds\players.rpf
4. delete the player zero inside streamedpeds\players.rpf and replace it with mine.

2. Copy patchday3ng into:
mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
3. Open:

@Zazerim55 Oh I think you might have installed it wrong then, delete micheal's head from mppatchesng and patchday3ng in your mods folder
@gameplazer ok,thanks
@gameplazer somethimes niko appears whitout body/outfit
@Zazerim55 okay then delete player_zero and player_zero.ymt and player_zero.yft if they are there in mppatchesng and patchday3ng
in your mods folder
@gameplazer ok,thanks
I modeled my own face in Blender in great detail. I made all the texture work detailed and high quality, high resolution, applicable to GTA. I adjusted the hair to look strand by strand. I prepared detailed files like Head Eye R Eye L Teef Hair Haircap ... I bought ZModeler, installed Sollumz plugin in Blender but I couldn't manage to add him instead of Michael... I just wanted to add my head in story mode because it would be more fun. Can you help me with this? Or do you know someone who can help?
Sorry for the incredibly late response I can help but can you like open the model's mouth? and are the eyes in the head?
@cuhaismail Oh and is the teef and Eyes separate? or in one model? and did you texture it? yet?
@cuhaismail Oh and can you export it as an fbx file? I work in 3ds max
can you explain properly on how to install it its so confusing
@gameplazer where is that? and how do i do it?
i am having the same problem
@gameplazer where are those files so i can do this too?
Niko doesn't match the wardrobe at all. The neckline sticks out from under the clothes.
So, where the hell is this patchday3ng or the other one???
@gameplazer @gameplazer Hello, I'm just seeing your message after a long time, sorry about that.
The teeth, eyes, and head are all separate files. The mouth can be opened.
I can also optionally combine the teeth and eyes with the head. The model's UV map has a completely healthy topology.
I can export all of this as FBX, and I can also draw the model as per my request. However, I need a good job of transferring it to the game. I don't need a fixed head, I need a truly accurate animation transfer. Thanks.
@gameplazer hell yeah!
I'm working on a mod that turns the discount store into the Russian Shop from GTA IV. Would you mind if I used the jacket and pants from this mod? Thanks again for this!
hey! your niko's hair probably looks weird because that looks like you converted it to dxt1, you should try converting to dxt3 and it'll look 1:1, cool mod though!
it's not dxt1, I checked it out and it's dxt5.
Niko's hand has a ring on his finger. Is there any way to remove this?
@Pingwinek123 that michael's hand
