Ever notice how your character can hotwire ANY car in just under 3 seconds? While IRL it can take up to several minutes?
This mod tries to simulate that (kinda)
This mod increases the time required to hotwire vehicles, replacing GTA Vs near instant car theft with a slower, more realistic, and tense process
Hotwiring now takes significantly longer, making car theft riskier and more immersive, especially in high-density areas where anyone could call the cops on you.
Mod may not be for everyone, and it could be annoying depending on your playstyle.
Compatibility: Should be compatible with any mod, as long as it doesn't change the file this mod does.
Takes around 8-20 seconds now.
Installation:
mods \ update \ update.rpf \ x64 \ data \ metadata
Issues:
It may be too slow for some people. Will add more versions in the future

Sadly I already have a modded pedpersonality.ymt, which line did you edit?
For those wondering how to adjust the hotwire rate to make it a bit faster you have to find the character Michael, Trevor or Franklin and change this value in the pedpersonality.ymt to <HotwireRate value=".25"/> quarter speed / about 4x longer or make the value whatever you like the smaller the number the slower the rate.
its bit of a immersive breaking when you see the char doing it in slow motion while the whole point of this mod is for immersion
