Los Santos Millionaire is a fan-made Grand Theft Auto V modification inspired by television quiz-show concepts such as Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and Kaun Banega Crorepati. It is not an official product of, endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with those television programs, their broadcasters, producers, trademark owners or other respective rights holders.
Los Santos Millionaire is a single-player GTA V quiz-show mod inspired by Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).
The goal of this mod is to give players a completely different activity to enjoy after finishing GTA V Story Mode.
Instead of another race, mission, shooting activity or police chase, you can enter a television-style quiz studio, answer increasingly difficult questions, use lifelines, win GTA money and try to reach the final $10,000,000 prize.

TV Studio Experience
Los Santos Millionaire creates a quiz-show environment using GTA V assets.
The player stands in the contestant position while the host, audience, lighting and camera system create a television-style presentation.
The show includes multiple camera views such as:
- Contestant camera
- Host camera
- Wide studio camera
- Audience camera
- Host and contestant two-shot
- Automatic camera transitions
The audience is visible during the show and can react during important moments.
Studio lighting and camera behavior can also be adjusted through the configuration file.

Answer all 15 questions correctly to win:

Guaranteed Checkpoints
The game includes safety checkpoints.
- Question 5 - $10,000 guaranteed checkpoint
- Question 10 - $250,000 guaranteed checkpoint
Reaching these levels protects part of your winnings if you later give an incorrect answer.
You can also choose to walk away before answering and keep your current prize.
Two Game Modes
Los Santos Millionaire includes two different ways to play.
Normal Mode
Play the traditional quiz-show experience.
You must choose the answer using your own knowledge or use one of your available lifelines.
The correct answer is not shown before you make your decision.
Learning Mode
Learning Mode is designed for players who want to enjoy the quiz while also learning.
The correct answer is visibly marked during the question.
This mode can be useful for:
- Learning new general knowledge
- Younger players
- Language learners
- Casual gameplay
- Educational use
Both modes use the same studio, prize ladder and quiz-show presentation.
GTA Phone Integration
The mod integrates with the GTA V phone using iFruitAddon2.
Millionaire contacts are added to your phone for accessing the game modes.
You can start the quiz through the GTA phone instead of relying only on keyboard commands.
Lifelines
Several lifelines are available during the game.
50:50
Removes two incorrect answers, leaving the correct answer and one incorrect answer.
Ask the Audience
The studio audience votes on the possible answers.
Audience percentages are displayed to help you decide.
The audience is designed to be a relatively dependable lifeline.
Phone a Friend
Call Lester and ask for his opinion.
Lester provides his best guess, but his answer is not guaranteed to be correct.
His reliability can become lower as the question difficulty increases.
Walk Away
Leave the game before answering the current question and keep your existing winnings.
Sometimes walking away is better than risking everything.
Replay Entry Fee
Los Santos Millionaire also gives GTA money another purpose after Story Mode.
By default, starting a new Millionaire game costs money.
The entry price increases as you continue playing.
For example:
- 1st game - $1,000
- 2nd game - $2,000
- 3rd game - $3,000
- 4th game - $4,000
- Additional games continue increasing
The entry-fee system can be configured through the INI file.
This creates a simple money sink and gives players another reason to earn and manage money after completing GTA V.
Persistent Statistics
Your Millionaire career progress is saved between sessions.
The mod can track statistics including:
- Total games played
- Total games won
- Highest question reached
- Highest single prize
- Total winnings
Try to improve your previous record every time you return.
Questions
The included starter question pack contains 50 questions covering multiple categories.
Categories include:
- General Knowledge
- Geography
- Science
- Technology
- Gaming
- History
- Math
Questions are separated into multiple difficulty levels.
Difficulty increases as you progress further through the prize ladder.
Custom Question Packs
Los Santos Millionaire supports questions stored in JSON format.
This means players and mod creators can expand the game with their own question collections without recompiling the mod.
Custom question packs can be created for subjects such as:
- GTA trivia
- Gaming
- Movies
- History
- Science
- Technology
- Sports
- Education
- Country-specific knowledge
- Custom community quizzes
Each question can contain four possible answers, the correct answer, category information and difficulty information.
Optional Voice Reading
Los Santos Millionaire includes optional Windows text-to-speech support.
When enabled, the system can read:

- Answer C
- Answer D
Voice settings can be adjusted through the INI configuration.
Settings include options such as:
- Voice selection
- Voice speed
- Voice volume
Text-to-speech is optional.
The quiz works normally when voice reading is disabled.

Los Santos Millionaire is a ScriptHookVDotNet 3 mod.
The source project is compiled against the ScriptHookVDotNet3 API.
For newer GTA V versions, make sure the ScriptHookVDotNet runtime you install supports your GTA V game build.
When using ScriptHookVDotNet, keep runtime files from the same release/package together.
Typical required files include:

.NET Framework 4.8
Los Santos Millionaire targets .NET Framework 4.8.

The source project may also contain development or NuGet dependencies used only when compiling the project.
For example:
Microsoft.NETFramework.ReferenceAssemblies
is a build/development dependency and is not something normal players need to install manually to play the mod.

Installation
- Install Script Hook V.
- Install a compatible ScriptHookVDotNet 3 runtime.

- Copy the Los Santos Millionaire files into your GTA V directory while keeping the supplied folder structure.
- Place LosSantosMillionaire.dll and LosSantosMillionaire.ini inside the scripts folder.
- Keep the included LosSantosMillionaire data folder inside the scripts directory.
- Launch GTA V Story Mode.

Los Santos Millionaire is designed as an alternative end-game activity.
It turns GTA V into a television quiz show where knowledge is more important than weapons, cars or combat.
No shooting is required.
No racing is required.
No police chase is required.
You only need knowledge, strategy, lifelines and enough confidence to lock in your answer.
The more you play, the more difficult the questions become and the more GTA money you can risk.
Use your lifelines carefully.
Reach the guaranteed checkpoints.
Know when to walk away.
