the map stills shows half the normal map how can i fix it?

when i zoom in and out the map switches from the Gen7 map to the original map

what does minimap_main_map.gfx do?

@TJM08 can you explain how to do this with NaturalVision Enhanced?

terrible mod cant even uninstall it and no instructions to do so even the author wont reply to those who ask on how to remove it

@adawqqe The instructions are both here and in the archive ("install with the OIV package installer") and yes that's all (beause it does everything with one click, both for installing and and uninstalling)

@Alex106 installing it in GTA V Enhanced - the OIV is simple enough but the loose 'gfx' file - if I use CodeWalker to import it into that location (or edit any RPF for that matter), it gets corrupted and I can't play the game! How to edit RPFs in GTA V Enhanced? How do I import that loose file properly in GTA V Enhanced?

Any chances of porting over Atlas minimap to enhanced? I've tried doing it myself, replaced the files everywhere converting to 9th gen formats, even exported clean DDS images and though using the search function every single file (except outside the mods folder) shown the map being replaced... in-game it would still load black and white. It shown the atlas version but far away, as approaching the map images turned mono-chrome again... The pause menu map never changed. As if it only worked for the lods.. I gave up entirely. I've replaced fies in update.rpf, x64b and x64e. The game is mocking at me at this point lol. Or doing something similar maybe. Right now the only color minimap for GTA Enhanced is the old-gen styled map.

@Alex106 this is good but it needs much better instructions. Having Legacy, Enhanced, and Legacy AND Enhanced options in the installation files was very confusing. Still not sure what the last option is for, aside from adding DLC buildings? Optional? It's not explained at all.

You mention in the description that this adds custom mapping for the prison and zancudo, but they are missing from the map and you said in a comment here you can add them with a trainer. 0 explanation. What?

@FFox98 I think that happens because the 3D models are still loaded (maybe removing the entry for the minimap.rpf from gta5.meta or images.meta should fix it, but i'm not entirely sure)
@ConnorGTAVmods I'm looking into making a new OIV package, which simplifies the installation process.
As for the minimap_main_map.gfx, it changes the color of the sea and one highway texture (and it's required, otherwise there will be a color mismatch).
Simple Trainer has an option called "Show Fort Zancudo and Prison on map" which displays both on the radar and pause menu map

@Alex106 Better when installed in conjunction with Los Santos "Vice Style" Radar Map except the map transitions to your mod when zooming in. Also, minimap textures disappear when being used with GTA VI Inspired Features, HUD & Radar System.

@IreBurn The VC style mod uses only the 2D textures. To fix that, delete the minimap.rpf from "mods\update\update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5"
As for the second issue, I haven't tried that mod so I don't know why it happens

@Alex106 Nevermind, there isn't a default in vanilla update folder.

The prison cannot be show on the map.(Used Simple Trainer)
