This is a Script that goes into the GTA\Scripts folder.

How to install:
1. Make sure to have ScripthookVdotnetV3, the link below allows you to run both V2 and V3: https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/scripthookv-net
2. Place all files except .cs/txt files in the GTAV\Scripts folder.
This script spawns Ambient AI police across the map at predefined spawn points,
Each spawn point has a 30% chance to spawn a sitting patrol unit
Each Spawn point has a chance to spawn 40% traffic stop scenario
Each Spawn point has a 30% chance to spawn nothing
V 2.0 Updated (2/25/26)
Changed name to "1803 Ambient Police" to stay consistent with my brand renaming and newer mods.
To update: .INI file does not need replaced, just renamed to "1803 Ambient Police.ini"
-Replace .dll and pdb files.
-Fixed siren issues, no more sirens after traffic stops end
-Cleanup/deleted patrols happen when player is out of range so it is not visible
-Added spawn check so if callout or other script occupies spawn spot, spawn spot is skipped until it is free then probability chances take effect
V 1.8 Updated (2/8/26)
- Fixed driving logic after traffic stop
-Added more locations to LS Coastal, Blaine Ranger, and LS Central Zones.
-Fixed the Paleto Forrest (highway) location
-Added an extra scenario to traffic stops, Police will either write ticket or pat down suspect.

The ini file is used to add/change cars for police units as well.

@GTAPatrol2026 Dose say it is running but i go in game and i do not see the Police station And the logos or whatever dose not come up
@Moddedbymatt There is no police station for this mod. This script spawns ambient police sitting patrols and traffic stops. The police station you see in the video is an add-on map that is unrelated to this script.

idk if anyone else is having this issue but when a traffic stop spawns it spawn right next to or behind me depending on my vehicle speed. sometimes when traffic stop spawns the vehicle will spawns about 3ft from the ground and then falls into place. also sometimes the traffic stop operates normally and others times it doesnt. the cop will walks up to the passenger side of the stopped vehicle the driver gets out walks around the car to the cop then they both respawn about 3ft from the ground on the driver side. after that the cop and driver starts bending over like theyre bowing to each other. this happens with both vanilla and personal vehicles. is there a fix for this?
After loading I first saw a perfect Sheriff traffic stop on the highway north of LS but after that nothing until I saw highway patrol motorcycle cop across from the Pillbox Hill Ammunation sitting static on a cycle and doing nothing. No moving at all looking more like a mannequin. On top of that any 1-5 star police action saw units spawning way out on the perimeters but, again, just sitting there and not moving. Removed the mod and the police all back to life and roaring in when required.
@Wolverine75 I had another idea. How about unlawful searches? Let’s say you had a concealed weapon, and a cop can search you or pat you down, and discovered that you had a gun or knife. then you will get a 2 star warrant. Or cops and plant drugs and inside your car, resulting in 2 star warrant. You know it’s some kind of corrupted cop system, or 2 can beat you down with night sticks and if you fight back, you get a 3 star warrant. They can lie in their reports saying you attacked them first. Lol

@ked101 There are now two traffic stop scenarios, you saw the "pat down" scenario but it needed fixed.
Version 2.0 should have fixed the pat down issue
I am not sure why sometimes the cars "are above ground" and sometimes spawn perfectly, the spawn points are on the ground, I think it may just be an issue with scripthookV, I also updated from V2 to V3 so hopefully that fixes some issues.
@Starfox1993 Maybe but I think it would have to be a separate mod because this is a script and that idea would likely have to be a plugin which uses different coding structures and API calls and integrations with LSPDFR.
I'll look into adding the K-9 scenario in a later release!
@Wolverine75 There are three things the Police can do:
Sitting Patrol
Traffic Stop Scenario 1: Write a ticket in notepad
Traffic Stop scenario 2: Pat down driver then take notes on notepad
Your police bike was doing a sitting patrol.
You can change cars and percentages of traffic stops in the ini file.
So if you want a highway patrol add-on car, replace it for PoliceB model in file
If you want all traffic stops, turn on 100% traffic stops for a zone, 0% for other scenarios and patrol it and you will see traffic stops everywhere.

does it work on enchaced because i took the trip to places where police should resp but it didn't work i did everything as you wrote in description
@pjotr dygysz No, nothing this plugin runs on is supported for enhanced. Once sripthookVdotnet becomes compatible with enhanced, it will work.
@ked101 Not sure why it does that sometimes, the locations are on the ground so theres no reason they should be spawning in the air, it is likely a "glitch" or "bug" with scripthookdotnet
