This is a modified version of Packfile Limit Adjuster that works on GTA5 Legacy and Enhanced.
As "Unknown Modder" mentions on the original legacy version, this would only fix problems stemming from a large number of rpfs, and a good gameconfig and HeapAdjuster Enhanced are still required if you're facing other problems.
Its source code is hosted on GitHub (Changelog).
To install, simply drag PackfileLimitAdjusterEnhanced.asi and PackfileLimitAdjusterEnhanced.ini into your game directory.
The default number of rpfs, which can be loaded by the game is adjusted to 13000 by default, but you can increase it even further inside PackfileLimitAdjusterEnhanced.ini

Hey everyone. The Kortz Center Heist DLC broke some patterns on Enhanced, which are now fixed in v1.2.
This needs an update!
@theyesman2077 Are you facing any problems with it? The last update didn't break it last time I checked!
@Chiheb-Bacha
Yep... I get this...
Pattern not found: 49 83 c3 ? 48 81 f9 ? ? ? ? 75 ? eb
FATAL ERROR, EXITING...
@theyesman2077 so you're on Enhanced, which version? the pattern "49 83 c3 ? 48 81 f9 ? ? ? ? 75 ? eb" is for versions starting from 1.0.1013.17 and before 1.0.1158.13. Just make sure to use the latest version of PackfileLimitAdjuster Enhanced (1.2), as it should work on all the versions of the game!
@Chiheb-Bacha It literally was a fresh install via rockstar games launcher.
@Chiheb-Bacha ...and I did install v1.2, and my game is literally reinstalled as of today. Latest version of Enhanced. Could it be a conflict with heap adjuster or modkit adjuster??? I honestly think you are not running the current version of the game, because I am and it's simply not working. Tried it again and got this...
Pattern not found: 49 83 c3 ? 48 81 f9 ? ? ? ? 75 ? eb
FATAL ERROR, EXITING...
@theyesman2077 I can guarantee you I'm on the latest version of the game! Also, it not finding that specific pattern tells me 100% that you're not on the latest version of the game! This is the part in the code that handles that (https://github.com/Chiheb-Bacha/PackfileLimitAdjusterEnhanced/blob/4eed50ef8ea4891ebba94ef883193a11c26953de/Game.cpp#L104) and you can see that if your version is 1.0.1158.13 or newer, PFLA would scan for "48 83 C6 ? 48 81 F9" and not "49 83 c3 ? 48 81 f9 ? ? ? ? 75 ? eb". Hover over GTA5_Enhanced.exe from the directory you're launching the game from, and you can see the build number, let me know what that is.
And no, heap adjuster and modkit adjuster have no conflicts with packfilelimit adjuster. It could be the case that you have other mods that do, but that still doesn't explain why PFLA is scanning for a pattern corresponding to an older version of the game, that just doesn't happen!
And just to be safe, I downloaded 1.2 again right now, and tested it on the latest Enhanced version which came out few days ago (1.0.1158.16), and it works!
@Chiheb-Bacha I'm on 1.0.1.1158.16 I have World of Variety Enhanced 1.0.3, Unlock all Radio Stations Enhanced, GTAIV Style Exits, Heap Adjuster, Modkit Limit Adjuster, Simple Trainer (trainer v) and Lively World Expansion.
@Chiheb-Bacha So what's the deal? Why is this happening when I am indeed on the latest version of the game? Could it be tied to regional differences in the GTA5_Enhanced.exe perhaps?
@theyesman2077 could you temporarily disable all other mods and only keep PackfilelimitAdjusterEnhanced and tell me if the issue still persists
@Chiheb-Bacha I'd honestly don't trust myself to do that right now. I have a good bit of time in my current setup and am sitting pretty and the moment. Don't want to break anything after all the time I've but into building this perfect single player experience for my last playthrough of the game with my brother before 6 comes out.
@theyesman2077 Alright np. Could you send the sha256 checksum of your GTA5_Enhanced.exe? google how to find that and send it here, then I can verify that your executable is the same. Other than that, I honestly can't think of another way to troubleshoot your issue.

@theyesman2077 Yeah it's different to mine. it doesn't even match the previous version for me!
@Chiheb-Bacha Could perhaps have something to do with different regions you think?
@theyesman2077 If you're in my discord server, @ me there, and when I find the time I'll give you a modified version that you can test. Some people had similar weird issues with HeapAdjuster recently where it was detecting the wrong versions for them, and it uses mostly the same logic as PackFileLimitAdjuster, and so modifying the version check solved their issue, so maybe that could work for you too!
@Chiheb-Bacha I unfortunately don't use or have discord. I'm old lol.
@Chiheb-Bacha Would you consider making a USA region version as an optional download here?
@theyesman2077 sure! I'll put it on GitHub first so that you can test if it solves your issue, then I'll put it up here. I'll let you know once it's ready, as I barely have time this week!
@Chiheb-Bacha okay cool, lmk then with a link.
