This ASI plugin doubles the amount of packfiles (aka RPFs) the game can handle.
Please note that this plugin will only 'fix' ERR_FIL_PACK_1, nothing else. Get a better gameconfig and install the Heap Limit Adjuster if you still experience crashes.
Also, please make sure to combine your DLC packs. Not doing so is the most common reason for ERR_FIL_PACK_1.
And don't blame me if it doesn't help. I can't fix laziness.
Protip: Don't use the "Online Map".

Simply drop PackfileLimitAdjuster.asi and PackfileLimitAdjuster.ini into your Grand Theft Auto V folder.

@mikeyboy242424 I was having this issue and discovered in my mods folder all the official dlc packs had been duplicated from proper x64 folder, deleted them from mods and It’s sorted
my game still gets the error game error pls reboot and restart the game even tho i have all my mods updated all my scripts updated and everything i need but yet i still get this error after playing the game for like 30 minutes to 1 hour is there anything i need to do to really fix this

This file when removed from game folder makes game crash. I have tried to only have my addon dlc in the dlcpack folder in mods folder but game still crash with the gameconfig that claims packfilelimitadjuster is not needed anymore.
Hey, I have this installed since a while and I was wondering if this can help me as well with a little issue I have with 2 wheels pack mods I have on, some wheels from one pack might be missing when installing the other one and I was thinking if that has to do with something like this, as well I can find the "ArchiveCount" but don't know which value to put in, plese help!
