LS Life - Crash Fix v1.4 (script build 0.2.50)
A stability patch and feature update for mcal9909's LS Life on Grand Theft Auto V patch 1.0.3788.0 and newer. v1.4 fixes a dealer recruitment soft-lock surfaced by Brozay_Sayz_Ayoo and adds a configurable supplier menu name driven by mitto_backup.

Dealer recruit soft-lock fix
- Brozay_Sayz_Ayoo reported peds walking away from million dollar offers. Root cause: AreaDealer.DecidePlayerOffer (100 - amount/1000 weight) combined with a LastOffer high water mark gate. Once a high offer was rejected and LastOffer pinned to that value, the slider max (capped at player.Money) could not exceed it after the cash was spent. Result: that dealer permanently refused to engage.
- New [ECONOMY] section in LSlife.ini with two independent safety valves:
FORCE_ACCEPT_ABOVE = 750000 (any offer at or above this is auto-accepted, no rng. Set 0 to disable)
AUTO_ACCEPT_AFTER_WALKAWAYS = 3 (per dealer walkaway counter. After N rejections from the same dealer, the very next offer auto-accepts and the counter resets. Set 0 to disable)
- AreaDealer now tracks WalkawayCount with BumpWalkaways and ResetWalkaways helpers. Reset fires on any successful accept.
- LsMenus.HireDealerOfferSelect rewired: bypasses the LastOfferLOVE LS LIFE? THE NEXT CHAPTER IS HERE.
OnTheBlock grew straight out of the LS Life lane: it contains the FULL LS Life experience (built on Mcal9909's framework, fully credited) with every dealing system you know, the dealers, the zones, the stash cars, the heat. And then the city comes alive around it: police that work cases and track your car and clothes, gangs that remember you across sessions, a social feed that reacts to your crimes, warrants and impound, NPC memory, and live AI voice conversations where NPCs talk back in character.

@4thvision appreciate you dropping that, but heads up, that one is ScriptHookVDotNet Enhanced, the fork for the Enhanced version of GTA V, which is exactly what my fixes build against. it is not a legacy shim. for Legacy you need the old SHVDN line, which is a separate build. @keyg13 you are reading my mind, a Legacy compatible version is genuinely in the works and being tested with the community right now so it lands stable instead of rushed. fastest way to get pinged the second it drops is the Discord (discord.gg/wGFnJtR82D). preciate you both holding it down for legacy 🙏

@keyg13 appreciate you joining and the support for real. straight up though, i don't want you subbing for something i can't promise, so let me be honest: OnTheBlock is built and tested on GTA V Enhanced, that's the supported version, and i'm not building a separate Legacy port right now. that said, some Legacy players have gotten it running with the SHVDN nightly (the one tagged v3.7.0-nightly.NNN marked Latest) plus ScriptHookV, so it's worth a shot at your own risk before you switch anything. and the Patreon is for the supporter build with the AI conversation features, not Legacy early access, didn't want you paying on a wrong assumption. either way appreciate you 🙏

works on legacy with scripthook advanced, now if we had pull me over compatibility it would be next level
@DoubleDD Hey! Can you please explain how to make it work on legacy? it looks like only some of the features are working for me: safehouses are available and I can start selling, but the amount of drugs is not saved when I restart the game, and I cannot order delivery from zee
@chris22622 how do you put oz in the stash? I ordered some stuff from Zee, but there is no option to put OZs in the stash and take ready to sale Gs like it was in the mcal9909 version. I can only stah grams. Data is exactly saved because there is a line <weedOz>10</weedOz> in the LSlifeSave.xml
apparently this problem only applies to weed, crack, and cocaine, as they are the only ones with the Oz line in LSlifeSave.xml
Just tried to buy ecstasy and it worked fine, i can stash it or sell
@Druce the OZ stash thing is an original LS Life inventory/menu issue, not your save failing. If `<weedOz>10</weedOz>` is showing in `LSlifeSave.xml`, the ounces are being saved, but this crash-fix package does not currently restore the old OZ-to-ready-to-sell-grams stash conversion for weed/crack/cocaine. Ecstasy working makes sense because it uses a different/simple sellable inventory path.
For now, use gram purchases/stash for stock you want to sell right away, or keep OZ as bulk until I patch that conversion menu. If you can, drop your `LSlifeSave.xml`, exact game version, and the Legacy/ScriptHook setup you used in the Discord so I can test the same path instead of guessing.
@DoubleDD the Trevor photo is the old LS Life phone/contact texture, not part of the crash itself. I can look at swapping that in a cleanup pass, but send a screenshot of the exact screen so I know which texture/contact you mean.
@futilityoflife88 @medcay noted on Legacy and Pull Me Over compatibility. If Legacy is working for you with ScriptHook Advanced, please drop the exact ScriptHookV/SHVDN versions you used so I can write cleaner install notes for everyone.

@chris22622 When i try to use K(the main key) to open my inventory i get an unhandled exception for the ui (inventory) otherwise all drugs work etc
@D33jaayyy i meant like searches. also sometimes you get an enemy location gps, then nobody is there, and it just stays up

@chris22622 i got the main key working by uninstalling and installing again but i cant see how much of each drug i have when i press k
@D33jaayyy K toggles the inventory overlay in that legacy build, and it should show each drug with pocket and bag amounts. If the overlay opens but the numbers are missing or off-screen, use the Plug menu Options sliders for PosX and PosY, save it, then send a screenshot and ScriptHookVDotNet.log if it is still blank.
