Where does this mod install itself? Or do we have to launch it using setup everytime? because when I do that it always asks me for "first time setup" checkboxes.
Alright, so I tried disabling Windows Defender. Still no dice. I uninstalled this trainer and installed some other mods to check. The game runs smooth. I put this trainer back in, and voila! Stutters galore. Its definitely a problem with the trainer. Source: 4+ hours of testing
@Slash_Alex Nope. My GTA V is fresh out-of-the-box, no other mods. I installed Scripthook V last night just to get this trainer. So it s just this trainer and Scripthook in my GTA, nothing else, no mod managers or anything. I'm planning on getting one soon though cuz I wanna play Online too. I'll try disabling Windows Defender and report back.
@Zemanez I understand what you're saying. But rest assured, my machine is more than capable of handling anything GTA V has to throw at it. Its no PC-related issue. Like @Iwatchswiftor mentioned, your mod can be run on crappy PCs perfectly fine too so the blame lies elsewhere. As an end-user, I can only do so much but since you're the developer, I imagine you have more tools and are better equipped to do the debugging than myself.
Update on my situation: I uninstalled this mod and installed the older Update 28 version and the game is back to normal again. Can't say what but something's broken with this mod right now. I spent the last three hours just uninstalling - testing - reinstalling - testing this mod and I can confirm 100% that this trainer is the cause of the lag. I run the game on Ultra settings, 60 fps just fine so it can't be my machine. Just saying. Hoping this gets fixed in the next update.
Hey there! This is a really well done mod. Thanks! I got the game recently (RGSC version). And after installing the new scripthook for the latest patch and this mod on top of it, my game, upon loading, lags like hell. Its a perfectly reproducible bug. I've tried both update 33 and 34. As soon as I get this mod's files out of the directory, the game runs all smooth as silk. But plug the files back in and the game drops down to 5 fps. Its really mind-boggling but... I dunno how it's happening. Anyone else experiencing this?
