@DoubleHelix I didn't purchase my game through steam so I have to follow the second process. I installed the ASI loader and OpenIV.asi but I don't understand what to do with the 4 steps under that. Currently, I have installed all 4 .oiv files of the mod into the mods folder with OpenIV.asi But I need to restore the overwritten files of the game first.
I have to only replace the update.rpf, prologue.rpf, and x64c.rpf files, is this correct? Unless I can select what to download, I have to re-download the whole game. Is this what I have to do now?
@DoubleHelix I think I found my issue. I overwrote the main files of the game. I created a mods folder but didn't install OpenIV.ASI that would allow me to use that folder. How screwed am I now? I would assume my saves are safe, so I can backup them and reinstall the game, right? Anyway, thanks for helping
I followed your goddamn steps and I am getting a "ERR_GEN_INVALID" and "Corrupt game data. Please reboot or reinstall the game". Any ideas?
Also, you have no available documentation; at least I cannot find any, anywhere. I downloaded the .zip, extracted the .oiv files from 1 to 4, used the package installer, installed those four files, starting from 1, then 2, then 3 and then 4. I have the required shit for the mods to work, Script hook V, the .net version and the lua thing. I deleted those animations you advised us to delete but the issue remains.
I don't want the mod to work, I just want the game to open.
