I can narrow the crashes down to the same points in certain missions - not long after taking the cop car during Amanda's arrest; before the last cop appears in the Jewel Heist getaway; and before entering the final tunnel in The Big Score getaway. With this mod's modules enabled, it always crashes at those specific points. Disabling them for those missions and the game runs fine.
These are all during times with wanted levels, so it seems the game tries to run something at these points but doesn't like how this mod handles being wanted.
Just thought I'd add my own research on the problems for this otherwise awesome mod. I prefer using this over RDE because it's a lot more lightweight, I'd rather use this mod for realism than all the resources in the other one.

Maybe I'm missing something, but is there no way to adjust 3rd person FOV on foot?
