Aright, thanks for clearing that... I still don't understand what's changed though, I mean has the latest gta updates changed how these things work somehow? I don't get it, I seem to have tried everything. These modded RPF's haven't been changed for a while and before updating I checked and everything worked.
Tried adding a single car to an mpapartment dlc.rpf newly copied from the main directory, game crashes when spawning. Tried with another model too. "Failed zlib call". OpenIV crashes everytime I try to open the .yft's too.
Sorry, is it possible to get an earlier version of OpenIV? Like a portable one, with 2.6? 2.8 is not working for me. Can't use old setup files because they just force download the 2.8 version anyways...-.- So I need the whole folder.
@GooD-NTS I tried removing the mods folder and making a new one using the openiv.asi prompt, and this time avoiding any Mod Manager, just launching the game from openiv.asi. That worked, at least for x64e, I'm getting problems with some of the other RPF's though, mpapartment dlc.rpf is making the game crash only when spawning vehicles directly from that folder, with a new error to me "failed zlib call". So two seperate issues here now, one: I can go try and fix the rpf's I usually loaded using the Mod Manager, and add them again exclusively with OpenIV, but then I gotta figure out this failed zlib shit... Two: I didn't have any problems with any of the RPF's before the latest OpenIV update. It could've been the latest GTA update. The game just doesn't seem to accept running modded RPF's without OpenIV.asi. Not even a completely new x64e with just a single car mod. Am I being silly, have I always had OpenIV.asi running? I've been modding for a long time now, and been gone for a little while.
I have the same problem as SmokinWaters, well I think, it's like after the latest update the game won't accept any modded RPFs, and everytime I launch the game with the OpenIV.asi, the game always crashes. And I have no idea how "remove 'mods' folder" would help at all. I mean what? Gotta be honest, I didn't even know about openiv.asi until the other day. Tried removing 'mods' folder and installing openiv.asi again, that prompted a new mods folder and then I copied my modded RPFs in there, but, that just resumed the issue of crashing on launch. Please elaborate!
@lxryan I have the same issue, did you figure it out? Euphoria maybe?
