your attention to detail is stunning and a little scary, I admit
I always wondered, imagine if someone edited vanilla cars to give them realistic interiors.
So like for example, the Cavalcade has a lore-friendly Escalade interior or something.
@mrwallace888 AKA Modders once again doing the work these lazy piece of shit developers at C* north should've have done from the start? Of course. It's a nice mod, just wish the steering wheel was a bit bigger and higher. Apparently the morons who developed this game have never driven a car in real life and thus don't know to design actual vehicle interiors.
@Brukanator To be fair, imagine how long it’d take to develop unique interiors for every car, especially with the massive vehicle list we have now.
It was likely done to save on resources.
@mrwallace888 Apparently not much was saved in the way of resources because there were other aspects of this game that turned out to be heavily flawed anyway. Not saying that they had to make unique interiors for every single car, just not interiors that look like complete shit overall. They could've at least applied a more detailed general interior to each class of vehicle. There's a reason RDR2's modding scene is seemingly dead right now because it's a damn near perfect game, so there's no rush to decrypt the files. This shoddy ass game on the other hand requires a ton of mods to even remain tolerable enough to play. Rockstar San Diego may have taken a long time to put their game on PC, but at least they are an actual professional team of developers. Modern C* North receives too much unwarranted praise. RDR2 is a game that will hold up 10 years after it's release. Gta 5 already felt dated within 5 years, online being the only thing keeping it's dead cow alive after all this time. And it may look good compared to a colossal failure like cp2077, but that's only because the standard has lowered over the years.
@Brukanator If they're such a C* and if you think the game is dated and bad, then stop playing their game.
Alex106 Nice additions I utilized this in a YouTube video. Thank you for such a nice product.
@mrwallace888 Classic shill response. I only play this piece of shit game because of the mods and modding community. Do you think anyone would be playing the bugged trash fire known as skyrim after 10 years if it weren't for mods? Fuck no. Mods are the only things that keep these shitty half broken games alive. Other older games are good enough that they can sustain a large enough following with minimal to no modding. Games from long ago that were worthless console exclusives would have prospered and been remembered if they were put on PC, but the idiot publishers/devs were too short sighted. The only reason this piece of shit remains alive through the mainstream is because man children or dumbass kids are willing to waste exorbitant amounts of money on scummy sharkcards to buy fake digital items with no value whatsoever, giving these dumbass interns at Cockstar north/take two shits even less of an incentive to get off their lazy asses and develop another game.
@Brukanator To be honest it's not even Rockstar's fault. I'm not saying they're completely innocent when it comes to money-hungry crap, but for the most part you can thank Take-Two.
I will say though, it really is getting annoying how like every game studio keeps getting bought out, so now almost every game is under some major company or publisher (EA and Take-Two being the biggest ones, obviously). EA was pretty bad about it, having rushed a lot of games (take NFS MW 2012, for example. There was SO much stuff planned for it, but EA rushed Criterion).
And yeah, I get the frustrations of this game being God only knows how many years old and still thriving on Online content (which I've not once touched, btw, lol, I have 900 hours and it's all in singleplayer), but hey, as long as people continue to play it, nothing will get anywhere. The only thing to do is to just stop buying shark cards or stop buying the game. But people will still do that.
@mrwallace888 At one point I used to love this game, blind to the hype, but then I grew to resent it when I noticed it's hard to ignore flaws and realized just how lazily put together it was, with so much unwarranted praise and acclaim. Sure the character on foot animations are great and the mo-cap is amazing, but that's clearly where most of the budget for this game was allocated towards besides marketing. That's why I love BeamNG. It's developers aren't rushed and strong armed by shitty publishers run by retarded ceos who make way too much money, leading to disasters like cp 2077. They can take their sweet time making the greatest vehicle simulation gaming has ever seen. It's just sad that such good games are so niche.
