Still this mod is just making only fistfights longer... firefight do get more intense though ;)
This has its fair share of bugs but thats as close as we can get right now :P
New Stuff in Version 1.2 / Bug Fixes:
- only headshots kill instantly
- fistbattles take much longer now
Known Bugs :
-shooting at someone lying on the ground will result in instant death no matter his health
- There's something strange the UNNARMED NPCs on the ground, lying in pain, die five seconds later NO MATTER WHAT, as long as they are unnarmed all values will be bypassed and they will die after 3 to 5 second.
How to install:
1. Extract the archive.
2. Run OpenIV and open "common.rpf" in the main Gta V Folder (where the GTAV.exe is located)
3. Open the "data" folder.
4. Enter "Edit Mode" and add/overwrite the pedhealth.meta
5. Start and enjoy
This mod is very helpfull for my tweak (shows healthbars when aiming at someone):

Do I just drop a copy of the rpf. file into the "data" file? This is the second mod I have installed.

@vvdevil THANK YOU For explained the pedhealth.meta file. I have been searching the difference between hurt, injured and drying for ages. Made no sense! lol =)
@vvdevil hi nice mod but if npc fall down he die instantly except some others. Please do something. No die instant after fall down

I don't think this mod even works...its based on luck and amount of damage that is inflicted to the ped depending on gun,range,place where the bullet hit also fist fights are debatable..Ive shot someone in the chest with a 9mm once they died..shot the person next to him the same spots and he lived up to 4shots..also ive one punched many people and also taken a good 5-7hits..i don't think mod actually adds any health..just tricks you into believing that is does something....i don't see any different what so ever..regardless the dmg on a ped varies.

@hiphopjm not much to it just open it and then find DefaultHealth value that should be 200 and change it to 100, so yeah thats the truth to this mod just a simple 100 added to a npc so a single pedestrian is turned into 2 so i guess fights can get challenging
defaulthealth = 475 , 450 and 425 is the sweet spot for me.
They burn and scream and writhe long time but don't get back up. It's great!

Great mod does this also work when running peds over with cars for some reason even if I lightly tap a ped with a car they fall to the ground dead?

i want to delete this mod, it kills peds way to fast if i shoot them in the foot
