Thanks for downloading this mod. As a follow-up to my VSS I liked the way Metroidguy's Scar-H looked. I had asked him a long time ago if i could use his model and make it an addon on the comment section. He never responded....sooo whatever...
So I've had this mod for a while just waiting for permission. Here you go lads.

Some pointers for my recreation of the gun
-I used trash8's Tactical grip config and included it to this mod natively, which will make you turn your weapon sideways when you dont look thru sights
-Unlike the VSS, This doesn't come with a scope [BUT i did add addon attachments, but its dumb how you can access them, it'll tell you in the README file]
-I put a hell of a lot of recoil into it. But it does 50 damage. [This makes it a little more realistic than the VSS, This doesn't have a integral suppressor so you will shake like a child with parkinsons when you pull the trigger]
-The rate of fire is slow... Scar-H slow...
-Like the VSS, this does not have a weapon icon on the wheel [But if you have the pickups mod, there already is a icon for it from what i assume is some unused asset for a GTA 5 weapon that InfamousSabre decided to add in to his mod. Its one step less than the vss]

INSTALLATION GUIDE:
1) Go to "\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks" and drop the "scarh" folder there.
2) Go to "\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data"
3) Right click "dlclist.xml" and click edit
4) Paste the following below "<paths>";
<Item>dlcpacks:\scarh\</Item>
5) That's it, you're set. When loading into GTA, to get your weapon open your menu or native trainer and get your weapon wherever
you can input the weapon name, type in "WEAPON_scarh". Then presto! it's yours.

@Thighmangler please original m16 a1 ak 47 and m4a1 mac 10
@Mazurinas I was already on the works with a mac10/11 but im not too sure about an m4 or ak since most people replace the assault rifle with a proper ak model anyway, same thing with the carbine rifle with m4 or m16
@Thighmangler I already have that and I even tried to increase the number to 500. It didn't work, game still crashed.
@NightBreak290 Are you trying to use this mod with more add-on weapons with custom components? The game has a hardcoded limit of 6 or 7 add-on components before the game crashes on load or the components on any weapon not loading at all. The component limit was fixed for FiveM but not story mode. Try opening the scarh dlc folder and remove the add-on scopes from weaponcomponents.meta and I see if it fixes the crashes.
Great mod, it is nice to finally see some Add-on Weapons so I can save the vanilla ones for other weapons.
I'm also planning on getting into the modding scene and was wondering if it'd be ok to use the framework of this mod to try and recreate the cut Heavy Rifle from the Grand Theft Auto 5 Beta. I will give credit where credit is due.

@Mangokillen No, the only add-on weapons I used are the Flamethrower by OHMYMODZ and an add-on version of the Katana, but I'll try removing the add-on scopes from weaponcomponents.meta.
@Thighmangler Yeah, apparently.
@Mangokillen Okay, the game launched fine, but the magazine is missing and I got a critical error for Simple Trainer. When I equipped the Special Carbine, the magazine is missing too, but then I realized I actually used metroidguy's SCAR-H mod before. Did I do something wrong?
@NightBreak290 Try also removing the custom flashlight component called SCARH_FLASH from weaponcomponents.meta and it should fix the issue with the magazines not loading.
@Mangokillen Okay, that fixed it. A shame I can't use any custom attachments at all.
@Thighmangler yeh but m16 a1 and m4a1 are different guns ak 47 too in game there is chinese ak not real ak 47 like carbine rifle is not even m4

@Mazurinas yeah, but like i said, most people replace the fictional ones GTA has with their real models. I replaced the carbine with an m4 model and the carbine mk2 with an m16 model (yes even though the mk2 carbine isnt exactly an m16, there's no need to follow along exactly what gta parodies). and same thing with the assault rifle and ak-47. I dont think anyone really wants to keep the chinese remake of the AK in game anyway. its easier to just replace than go thru the effort of making a whole addon for a weapon that's sorta already in the game
I am a beginner at making Add-On weapon mods, and i am having some trouble accessing my weapon add-on in game. What files does the game read for the game to load my mod up?
@Lynx- everything you see in content.xml is what the mod decides to read (you can ignore the data folder in x64, i believe, as its only for selling the weapon in ammunation. but R* removed that option when mk2 weapons came out)
