He no longer has to be "a fucking Marine!"
Many of my future mods with American-based peds will rely on this mod for the best experience.
If you're like me, you've gotten a headache of looking at that bizarre Army-Marine-USAF mixture Rockstar calls "the Army" in the game. However, even though most of them wear Army Combat Uniforms and the pilots use "genericmarine" voice lines in the files, all of them will act as though they are marines.
This mod changes this, making all peds who use those "genericmarine" voice lines to have voice lines that allow them to be universal and not tied to a specific (incorrect) branch. Further, I've also changed the voice lines to be more professional; for instance, in cases where a combat unit would previously try to insult you ("Inbred moron!" comes to mind), said unit can now give call-outs of you to his team, call for additional units, and much more.
For some variance, I took the most relevant lines from both the MW 2019 US MIL-SIM and MWII SPECGRU Ranger operators and divided them into their own .awc files. By default, this mod only replaces lines uses by white males, though you can replace any ped's voice lines by simply renaming the file to that of the desired ped's .awc file.
Refer to the attached video for select samples, and/or feel free to check out the included .awc files yourself.
This pack includes the following:
○ Two US operator voice groups for peds, with over 85 respective voice lines changed for each of the following ped voice scenarios:
• Shocked, mild and strong
• Insult, mild and strong
• Frightened, mild and strong
• Curse, mild and strong
• Suspect spotted
• Suspect killed
• Vehicle crashes
• Greetings
• Farewells
• Thanks
• Cheering
• Yes & no
• Agree, general and across street
• Bumped & blocked, general
• Cover me/you
• Move in
• Over there
• Buddy down
• Rescue injured buddy
• Draw weapon
• Reloading
• Dying help/moan/plead
• Explosion is imminent
• Fall back
• Surrounded
• Fight & flee
• Run over player
• War cries
• Whatever
Keep in mind that not every single audio file in the .awc was changed as, because these COD voice lines are meant for an arcade military shooter and not a sandbox game, they do not have lines for every scenario. As a result, you may still hear the original "genericmarine" voices when they are engaged in ambient interactions like banter, talking on the phone, and so forth.
There are no (known) bugs with any portion of this pack.
HOW TO INSTALL:
I have arranged both voices to be in their own respective folders. You can choose whether to install one of the voices twice, or both of them at will. By default, all .awc files go in the following directory in OpenIV:
[mods >] x64 > audio > sfx > S_MINI_SER.rpf
Of course, if you wish to use these lines for other peds like s_m_y_swat_01, feel free to rename the .awc files and find the ped's directory as needed.
CREDITS:

perfect!
These types of mods take the longest to make, and for that, they deserve the most stars and support possible! 😎 You've done a tremendous job!!! 👏👏👏🐺 These voices sound really good in game! 🔥🐺🔥
Seems Great So Far; Will you be replacing Merryweather dialog with Shadow Company, Since there both PMCs?
@HuskyGamer Whoa, how did you know...? You're a psychic! Haha
( https://youtu.be/6jhzz5dnSdA 😏; will be releasing it sometime in June after I update my Shadows pack upload to support it).
What gun sound mod are you using?
tried to look for you in discord but no luck, I was trying to make an Elite Guard voicepack and also want to replace some wavs inside the marine.awc what software did you use OPENIV or codewalker? if so, do you have a tutorial for it? @YourWelshRaptor
hi i'm playing with your mods i really like them i'm writing to you from russia it would be very nice to play with the same mods only for russian speakers do you have any desire to make the same mod only for russian special forces
I have been working on something you'll more than likely love, @ttt231. I can't specify when exactly I'll be finished with it and release it, but stay tuned!
@YourWelshRaptor Cool, I thought you wouldn't see it. I'll be waiting for your new releases.
Hey there, @ttt231. I have released that mod alongside my largest mod yet: Konni Group. Here they are. Enjoy!:

Heya! I wanted to ask if these work for your All-in-one Shadow Company mod? Since I wanna use it on them.
@YourWelshRaptor Wow, thank you! I didn’t even think I’d be able to see this. Thank you so much! You’ve done something amazing — something more than just an ordinary mod.
Hey, @P4ol_6652. I plan on making my Shadow Company mod compatible with custom voice packs sometime in the future. When I get around to working on it, I will make a custom voice pack for them as well. Once I post that updated version, you absolutely can use these voices for them so long as you rename them. I'll probably replace the Merryweather voices for the Shadow Company pack.
@YourWelshRaptor Understood! Thanks for clarifying it! Can't wait to see your future proyects!
