@Mathix500 now, when you said that the trains dont spawn in naturally, do you mean that the normal trains spawn in, or that the trains somehow dont spawn in at all?

if the new trains dont spawn in, its most likely that you didnt drag and drop the trains.xml file. if they dont spawn in at all, im not too sure whats causing the issue

@CAPTAIN-5225 the mod does actually still work even till this day as of 2026. i installed it numerous times (and even still have it installed to the latest version of GTA V) and it works exactly how it did when this mod first released back in 2017 (even though i never installed it when it first released). the issue isnt with the mod, the issue is with the rather old and outdated instructions that came with the mod. i made a tutorial on how to install this mod with updated steps (and walter did pin the link of my tutorial)

@Skibiditoilet while that may sound true, it actually ISNT true... even before i did that, my game still crashed. and even then, i never added the trainstracks.xml from the 2 trains 2 tracks mod, as it really does nothing, and its not required. i did manage to fix the crashing issue though

so, i figured out on how to fix the crashing problem... and its kind of dumb... all i had to do was remove all of the trains.dat files, remove the "foxy_group" and "kitsune_group" from the trains.xml file, and trains now spawn... and i find this really dumb because it use to work with all of this or something...

is anyone experiencing game crashes? because even though i have installed EVERYTHING correctly, somehow... my game crashes... even though it worked perfectly 4 days ago...

now, it is worth mentioning that the mod that i "made" (the 2 trains 2 tracks with improved trains support mod) was a modification of Walter's improved trains mod by modifying the trains.xml file, and using Transitman's 2 trains 2 tracks files (which are the trains1.dat and trains4.dat file) so i would maybe credit Transitman instead of me (as he originally made the 2 trains 2 tracks mod, which i didnt, but you can still credit me lol) other than that, this looks like a nice mod, i might try it out by myself once script hook v updates lol

@brycedicen unfortunately, i dont know how to install those mods yet, and i dont think i will make a tutorial on how to install them if im being honest

@Bobcat4014 sorry for the late response, yes, you can still download it even if you have the original improved trains mod
