@JoyLucien do you have experience using the legacy version of this mod manager? I'm wondering if you're setting up your mod folder incorrectly, because I cannot replicate the issue you describe.

This application does not auto sort loose mod files into the expected directories - they need to be stored in the expected subfolder.

Options > Setup Wizard > Change Drop down to Legacy or Enhanced

Here you can customize the location of your mod folder and your game folder.
Note, to use hardlinks you must remain on the same disk. you can choose a different disk if you'd like, but you would have to use File copy mode which is significantly slower.

Could you add a separate button or action to enable a specific mod, such as right-clicking or double-clicking the mod entry you want to enable the link for?

Currently you build a list of mods you want to deploy, with a load order. If you want to mess around with loading one at a time, start the mod manager from commandline with the command argument --debug which will unlock the ability to install one mod at a time without starting singleplayer. This isn't a feature I'm ready to provide to the mainstream user.

@shifun bro this app is 11 years old and warns you to back up your mods in several places.

@cheddzin this is a decade old app (probably older than you), cry more lol. There is a way to change the installation path, bro. Good luck finding it because I'm not helping you :)

@varske Admin is needed for symlink, Firewall rules, CPU priority tweak etc

@rockandrole18 Rockstar's DRM is to blame for that and I have to do the same thing even when trying to play test my own mods, very frustrating indeed
