this script allows you to loot corpses containers trucks vans and cars
installation: install scripthookvdotnet NIGHTLY then both of the provided files into your 'scripts' folder
tested on legacy but will probably work on enhanced too
the corpse looting part was inspired by this mod https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/loot that has been broken for a while
you can also loot dead animals such as cows mountain lions and humpback whales, this is intentional
controls:
E/Y to loot trunk
E/Y to loot corpse
E/Y to loot trailer
Hold Tab/Y to loot centre terminal (when in a car)
you can edit the keybinds in the .ini to fit your personal preferences and also to avoid any conflict with preexisting binds
trunk/centre terminal: max 100 dollars, 1/4 chance for a miscellaneous item
corpse: same as trunk
trailer: max 5k, chance for a vehicle to spawn in the trailer
boxcar trucks, security vans, etc.: max 3k, 1/4 for a misc item

@wildracoonrabbits your description is very minimalistic; add more details, what loot amount per category eg, is it possible to set the amount via an ini file etc
also every upload is a mod so adding that to the title is redundant, try to think of a better title for your mod
@wildracoonrabbits tested on Legacy or Enhanced? Build against SHVDN nightly or the Enhanced by Chiheb_Bacha?

Please make an option to change the "e" keys with an .ini file, because it interrupts and interferes with other interactions that use the same key ingame.

@wildracoonrabbits Great looking mod, haven't tested yet but please keep gamepad configuration in mind, and possibility to close trunks and trailer doors when needed

Cool mod, but can u please add an option at least to get a chance to get a wanted level when looting people or trunks? Or even maybe if people see you looting u get a wanted level. Would be nice for a realistic modded game.
@jerome74 okay since i don't have a controller i can't verify whether the changes i added in 1.2 work or not but i did add your proposed idea of letting the player close trunks and trailer doors

@IreBurn default is Y, i added that to the description, you can change it in the .ini files
