No Wasted Screen
No Wasted Screen is a mod that removes the original Wasted Screen for GTA V and replaces it with one similar to Director Mode.
Note: WORKS WITH LEGACY, THIS HAS NOT BEEN TESTED ON ENHANCED.
Recommended to be used with Damage Effects Mod by SilverFinish
Installation
1. Install ScriptHookVDotNetV3
2. Install Script Hook V
3. Inside your GTA V directory, create a folder called "scripts"
4. Put "NoWastedScreen.dll" and "NoWastedScreen.ini" into the scripts folder
Configuration
The configuration file is "NoWastedScreen.ini", which should show you this:
[Settings]
SpawnAtHospital=true
If Spawn at hospital is true, the player will respawn at the hospital as usual instead of resurrecting on the same spot that they've died.
Change Log
v1.3
- Fixed the compatibility with mission's death. For now, the script is disabled if player is in a mission.
v1.2
- Fixed the issues where the player's character doesn't have collision after respawning, if they died inside a vehicle.
v1.1
- Added Configuration .ini file as an optional setting for spawning at a hospital instead of resurrecting on the spot
v1.0
- Initial Release

Instead of being respawning on the spot I would love if it was simply nearby. Also controlling how long to stay dead would be nice.

Nice mod, but sadly it forces the 3rd person view when you die. As someone who plays GTA 5 mainly in first-person, I wish it stayed in first-person
@SillyEdger Make sure your script hook and script hook dot net is the nightly version (i forgot to specify this in the desc) and you are on the latest version of gta.
@gti92 gta sadly forces 3rd person upon death, the only way to do first person is to use fake death like in watch your death mod.
@FlipThoseTitle Cool! btw does this also apply to being Busted as well?
