Description
With this mod you can toggle the hood camera on a car or motorcycle.
In the vanilla version of gta5 you can only choose either: first person or first person hood cam. This script gives you the ability to change to the hood camera while still being able to use the first person camera.
Installation
1. Install ScripthookV
2. Extract CarHoodCamera.asi & hoodcamera.ini to your GTA5 directory.
Controls
You can set a custom toggle key in hoodcamera.ini.

You can do something similar to this more without having to use Rage Script Hook, just be like your clicking the 8 key.

@Zerovv 3 Stars because it´s easier now to toogle the hood cam. 4 Stars if you make the cam moveable. 5 Stars if we can change the position of the cam via ini or menu.:)
I´ve forgot something. 5 Stars+Paypal if we can change all the different cams via gamepad like usual including the hood cam.lol
Agreed - Toggle View "3rd to 1st to Hood", via the Start button on the 360 controller, and I'll buy you two beers !

Hi, thnx. But toggle needed. Once I press H I cannot escape from hood view until I leave car.... can this be done ?

@Zerovv is it possible to make it have the camera to be like a dash cam, like basically hood cam, but behind the windshield and has the smoothing correction from fps mode?

Add please the version of the mod that the camera would be in the center of the hood.
pause the game -> settings -> camera -> first person vehicle hood. it was always there
@coolguy80101 You're right about that, this option is available in settings in " first person vehicle hood". Plus also, with this mod I noticed you can't look from side to side while driving, your field of view is only limited to look forward, in the in-game settings if you turn "first person vehicle hood" camera on, not only do you get the hood mounted camera but, you can also look 360 degrees while driving which this mod doesn't allow you to do.
@coolguy80101 & @JAM102970, this mod allows you to access the hood camera and first person camera at anytime, which vanilla gta can’t. What vanilla gta will do is replace the hood camera with the first person camera, while this mod lets you have both of the cameras at the same time.
