# Hitman
Hitman is a contract-killer mod for GTA V in which you receive contracts to eliminate targets throughout Los Santos.
The original version supports Portuguese and English. In the original configuration, you can change the language in `RandomHitContracts.ini` by changing `Language=pt` to `Language=en`.
# CHANGELOG 1.0
## Instructions
The `RandomHitContracts.ini` file contains several configuration options.
### Penalize Cancellation While Engaged
**What it means:** When set to `true`, the mod applies a penalty if you cancel a contract or an action while you are directly involved in it.
`PenalizeCancelWhenEngaged=true`
### Language
`pt` or `en` (the Portuguese strings use ASCII-only characters so they can be displayed in any game language).
`Language=pt`
The `Language=pt` setting selects Portuguese as the mod's language. To use English, change it to `Language=en`.
These are only some of the available settings. The mod includes other options that you can explore and customize.
## Starting Contracts
To start a contract, simply press the **B** key on your keyboard.
You can change this key in the `RandomHitContracts.ini` file.
## Installation
Simply copy the `scripts` folder and paste it into the GTA V root directory.
## Requirements

Download and install the latest version of Script Hook V:
https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/script-hook-v
**2. LemonUI / NativeUI**

- LemonUI: https://github.com/LemonUIbyLemon/LemonUI/releases/download/v2.2/LemonUI.zip
- NativeUI: https://github.com/Guad/NativeUI/releases/
**3. ScriptHookVDotNet**
The mod is compatible with ScriptHookVDotNet v3.7.0-nightly.193:

https://github.com/Chiheb-Bacha/ScriptHookVDotNetEnhanced/releases/download/v1.1.0.6/ScriptHookVDotNetEnhanced-v1.1.0.6.zip
## Development
The mod is still in development, with assistance from the Claude AI. Some features, settings, and mechanics may change during development.
This is my first script mod, so I still have a lot to learn and improve.
## Bugs and Issues
Some targets may spawn in unsuitable locations, such as on top of buildings. This issue is expected to be fixed in future updates.
# CHANGELOG 2.0
## New Features
New features can be configured in `Hitman.ini`.
- The script has been renamed to **Hitman**.
- Added support for more languages:
- Mandarin Chinese (Simplified Chinese)
- Japanese
- Russian
- Latin American Spanish
- Language selection is handled automatically when the game starts.
## Bodyguards
The target bodyguard system has been updated. You can choose between:
- **Enabled:** Bodyguards will always be present during contracts, as intended by the mod.
- **Disabled:** No bodyguards will spawn during contracts.
- **Random:** Bodyguards will appear randomly in certain contracts.
## Varied Targets
### Targets on Foot or in Vehicles
Targets can move around the map on foot or drive vehicles, making contracts more varied and dynamic.
### Terrorist Targets
Added targets classified as terrorists. They explode when hit by a bullet, creating a special type of contract.
## Fixes
Fixed targets spawning on top of buildings and other structures. Targets should appear in appropriate locations, such as streets, sidewalks, parking lots, and other valid areas of the map.
## Police Ambushes
Added predefined police ambushes that can surprise the player during certain missions or contracts.
## More Random NPC Targets
Increased the variety and number of NPCs that can be randomly selected for contracts, helping prevent the same targets from appearing repeatedly.
## More Targets Across San Andreas
Increased the frequency of targets in Los Santos, prioritizing its streets and neighborhoods. Targets can also appear throughout San Andreas, including Paleto Bay, Blaine County, Sandy Shores, Grapeseed, and Harmony.
## Target Counter
A target counter has been added to track how many enemies you have eliminated. To view the total, open the `scripts` folder and find `Hitman.stats`. Open the file with Notepad to see the number of enemies eliminated.
## Bug Fixes
- Fixed targets spawning on top of buildings and other structures.
- Fixed multiple targets appearing in the same contract.

Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening!
The mod will receive more updates soon, adding new features, improvements, bug fixes, and other new content.
Please support Korean as well
@kingkachu Thank you! Yes, Korean language support will be added soon.
Good afternoon or good evening, everyone!
I'm here to let you know that the next update is almost ready! 🎯
I'm working on new content and adding support for more languages to make the mod even more complete and accessible to everyone.
Thank you all for your support and patience. I'll be sharing more news soon! 🚀
Got about ten kills, and it runs very well on the Enhanced version and in Chinese. Looking forward to more content! I also noticed the mod works fine without LemonUI / NativeUI.
@randEm Thank you so much for liking the mod! More updates and new features are coming soon! 🚀
Great script overall, but there are a few features that could be improved or fixed. First, reinforcement enemies tend to disappear when the player isn't looking at them. It would also be awesome to have more target location variants.
Lastly, adding more enemy variants—like escort vehicles for the target—would be amazing. It’d also be much better if reinforcements actually drove up to the scene where the target was killed, rather than just spawning directly in front of the player.
