@Blue Fire I think there's a small mistake. For example, if I make 4 bodyguards appear, if 2 die in combat, the last two or the one that always accompanies you doesn't shoot, it just accompanies you. Also, there are some that only shoot at the ground.
@masrmick Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely look into this and polish the bodyguard combat behavior in the next update. Reports like these help me improve the mod, so I appreciate it.
@Blue Fire when i press deploy, i get arg e errors thrown at me & the script crashes :(

for some reason, when I launch GTA after the loading screen, the game crashes
i'm on 1.71 Legacy, this mod is not compatible with that build unfortunately.

@Blue Fire I'm using the latest GTA V Legacy version (build 3889) on Steam.
ScriptHookV: latest version.
ScriptHookVDotNet Nightly: latest version (API 3.7.0).
The game crashes after "Instantiating script SmartGuardMod.SmartGuardMain ...". There is no error message, just a black screen for about 2 seconds and then the game closes to desktop.
If you need any additional information or log files, I'll be happy to provide them.
@POPaki Hey! That crash is caused by a known bug in the latest SHVDN Nightly version. To fix it, please roll back to SHVDN Nightly build 176, which is the exact version this mod was compiled on. If the issue still exists after doing that, connect with me on Discord and we'll get it sorted!
@Blue Fire hey bro yes it works. i just found a work around for it so all good man thanks! the other thing i wanted to bring up is that im not sure if the mod conflicts with simple zombies enhanced? when i use that mod, zombies start raising their hands up lol. this is still such a great mod bro great job!
@B1gstinker Thanks a lot, I'm glad it's working now! 😄 As for the zombies, that's expected for now. The bodyguards currently scan any generic ped model—they don't know which ones are zombies and which are regular NPCs (story peds are recognized separately). In an upcoming update I'll add a ped exception list, so players can define which ped models should be ignored by the ROE system. That should make it much more compatible with mods like Simple Zombies Enhanced. 👍

@Blue Fire Any chance you can make an option to spawn in any addon ped as a bodyguard?
@Starfox1993 You can already do it, head over to custom bindings section, add any valid ped model then choose that in the slider where you choose ped, even addons can be added as long as its a valid dlc in your game.
