@efftee Followed these steps but it still doesn't seem to work sadly, I'll test it some more.

To make it work you need to also change the other vehshare's with the dirt files

Alright I've managed to make it work, I changed the picture files in the vehshare.ytd like in efftee's instructions but the vehshare.ytd is located in patchday27ng / dlc.rpf / x64 / levels / gta5 / vehicles.rpf .
Seems like even when patchday27 isn't in the mod file it overwrites other vehshares like in x64w and x64e.
To get the vehshare.ytd from the mod, rather than installing the oiv if you simply change the name of the .oiv file to .zip file you can get the vehshare inside.

do not use this mod the dirt on cars is good but when the player gets dirty the textures get messed up

Dear friends who love this mod ! open up the texture files and drop them in - mods\update\update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles_packed\vehiclesshared.rpf\ - After the whole day of trying i finally figured it out !

For people still love this mod and want it to work on your new gta ver. DONT REPLACE THE VEHSHARE.ytd the mod provide.
1. Edit Mod Vehshare, export "roof_dirt,vehicle_genericmud_car,vehicle_generic_glassdirt,vehicle_generic_tyrewall_dirt" (Tbh the whole mod just contain these changes)
2. Edit your game Vehshare, replace single picture with these 4 files. (my ver at patchday27ng).
**New Gta V version had more resolution for images/texture and stuff - DONT REPLACE IT.
