Fixed a bug that caused peds to be alive after decapitation (hopefully, I didn't seem to have any issues)
Decapitation is a mod for GTA V that adds realistic and brutal decapitation effects to pedestrians, when you shoot a pedestrian in the head with a powerful weapon their head will get destroyed and blood will start spraying and spilling out of the remains of the pedestrians lower-half of their head.
How to install:
Get GTAVTools from https://github.com/sparklingspacess/GTAVTools/releases/tag/main4
If you do not have OpenIV get it at https://openiv.com
Make sure you have ScriptHookV, ScriptHookV .NET and OpenIV.asi installed into your game.
Drag GTAVTools.dll and GTAVMemScanner.dll into your "scripts" folder in the game directory, if you do not have one create it.
Download this mod.
Extract the zip into wherever (desktop is recommended).
Run OpenIV and in the game selection screen choose GTA V for Windows.
Enter your games folder location (you only have to do this once).
Navigate to the topbar and click Tools then click ASI Manager.
Install ASI Loader.
Install OpenIV.ASI.
Optionally, you can install openCamera to remove the camera limits within the Rockstar Editor.
Once you have done all of that, open the folder for your specific game version.
Run Install.oiv and press the white Install button and choose the Mods folder.
Press the Install button with the blue checkmark and wait for it to finish.
Once it has finished close the window and copy Decapitation.dll from this mods extracted folder into your "scripts" folder.
The mod is now installed!

@sparklingspacess Very cool mod, I really like it :) I'm using gta version 3751, when I play and shoot npc's head with specified weapon this mod works well but sometimes the head doesn't break with the same weapon then I move to another place or wait for some time and it works again, I'm using ScriptHookV .NET enhanced, do you think I should use ScriptHookV .NET enhanced or ScriptHookV .NET nightly so the mod can be stable? thanks for sharing
you should really expand this mod and make it something like jedijosh did, he uploaded that mod glitched when the body got cut in half and it didnt show the organs like it did in the files of the mod, you should really create something new like that becouse it got potential, even tho i didnt installed your mod yet (and dont want to if its only for head) i really hope you will focus on that mod, it would be cool
@aldian0 if you are using enhanced stick with the enhanced version of scripthookv .net since the original is incompatible (i think), i dont use enhanced so any bugs i dont really know how to fix, glad youre enjoying the mod tho

@sparklingspacess I use the legacy version of GTA, the ScriptHookV .NET enhanced that I use is for GTA V Legacy, not for GTA V Enhanced, so for the legacy version of GTA, there are 2 versions of ScriptHookV .NET, namely the first is called ScriptHookV .NET Enhanced for Legacy and the second is called ScriptHookV .NET Nightly, so which ScriptHookV .NET is recommended for your mod?
@aldian0 the enhanced version of scripthookv .net is for the enhanced version of the game that released a couple years ago, if you are on legacy use the regular scripthookv .net (nightly build), its a weird naming scheme but its easy to recognise

@Crazyboy4881 read the install instructions, maybe you forgot something (use scripthookv .net enhanced if you are on the enhanced version)
@sparklingspacess In my gta 5 legacy, I use ScriptHookV .NET Nightly mod, it doesn't work but using ScriptHookV .NET enhanced it works, hopefully in the next update shooting npc's legs or hands will be destroyed too, thank you very much for sharing =)

Cant get this mod to work for the life of me. Got all the requirements and installed them correctly [Legacy] not sure what im doing wrong. All other scripts work except for this
This mod is fantastic, can't wait for the updates!
How I wish there comes an update for this nice mod where you can dismember other parts of the body like limbs, arms, legs, etc. . I recently found one similar mod, but it is for enhanced version only, and i'd rather stay with this one, as it works perfectly, unless with a few glitches like headless NPC's running off after you shot them and some laying on the roads with spikes coming out their necks after their heads been blown off.
work in gta v enhanced just files are in legacy install.oiv just change to install.zip and install manualy in put .dll in scripts folder and decapit in dlcpack and add ligne in dlclist with codewalker waiit next update
The blood color in this mod is too bright in comparison to another mod i use in combination with this. They work both fine. I want to make it darker, because it looks too cartoonish and like tomato juice. Is there a file in this mod that i can change it, and if so, how?
