Installation:

- Edit the configuration file to customize controls, HUD settings, and transmission options.
- Launch GTA V Single Player.
Controls (Default):
- F5 - Toggle Manual Transmission
- XButton2 - Gear Up
- XButton1 - Gear Down
- All controls can be changed from the configuration file.
Configuration:
- The configuration file allows you to customize:
- Toggle key
- Gear up and gear down keys
- HUD visibility and position
- Maximum car and motorcycle gears

@Aersa Yeah, I think that's because you're on Enhanced. I only tested it on Legacy GTA V. I'll try to check Enhanced support in a future update.

Whenever i press F5, it says exception and say the menu isn't open yet. Is there a button other than f5 that im supposed to press (also, ive changed the activation button to different buttons such as F10, F8 but it still didnt work)?

Are you on Legacy or Enhanced?
The mod was only tested on Legacy so far, and Enhanced might be causing the error
@M_Salem Thanks for replying! I am on legacy. I put the files in the script folder and my scripthook and everything else is up to date but when I try to activate it in the game, I get an error message saying "missing method exception" or "menu not open".

That error usually shows up when there's a version mismatch somewhere

v1.0: F5 = Toggle, Mouse Button 5 = Gear Up, Mouse Button 4 = Gear Down.
Latest version: T = Toggle, O = Gear Up, L = Gear Down.
You can change all keybinds in ManualTransmission.ini, or map them to a controller using Steam Input or JoyToKey.

You can use it with a controller through Steam Input or JoyToKey by mapping the controller buttons to the mod's keyboard controls. You can also change the key bindings in ManualTransmission.ini
how can i use the steering wheel? only working on keyboard
@Claesson24 Currently, the mod only supports keyboard controls. Steering wheel support isn't implemented yet.

i bind the key to Mouse Button 5 and Mouse Button 4 but it's not work and it turn to this default keybind

Only thing is that you can't drive with lower RPM's. So only full throtthle in the correct gear. Is that something @M_Salem could possibly fix? It would be great since the transmission mod made by itk is discontinued in 2023 and was the only mod that made this possible. The other mods that are currently out there have the same issue.
