ProperCarInventory Mod - Quick Summary
A 10-slot persistent trunk inventory for your vehicle.
Controls
E = Open trunk
NUM 8 = Move up
NUM 2 = Move down
S = Store equipped weapon
ENTER = Retrieve selected weapon
NUM 0 = Close trunk
Controller/D-pad = Not used
(sorry if the controls aren't to your liking, this one was for personal use at first and I don't mind them)
I currently use this with thatlilmythos's Limited Weapons Mod

The mod creates a save file that remembers what's stored in each vehicle.
Each vehicle is identified by:
Vehicle model & license plate
Installation

While on foot, all trunks can be opened by walking near any vehicle or any vehicle driving past you, even NPCs that are driving. Might be able to call this a bug... I think? works as intended either way :D Next version will have a more persistent system with your cars and yours alone, so you don't see the option for ALL trunks.
Probably will make a whole new mod just for the love of the game ✊
Hey dude. one question, the weapons are saved with modifications and custom bullets in the case of mk2?

@banjack Im still learning the basics to all this. I started this with very little knowledge so I'm learning as I go, but I welcome all tips and advice from anyone. One thing i wanted to add was a save system to Stifflerstiv's Car Inventory mod https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/car-inventory

@Trancenath91 I didn't try all weapons but it worked when I tested the Carbine MK2, Pistol MK2, and the Pump Shotgun MK2. So, if those 3 guns had zero issues, I don't see why any others would :) Lmk if you come across any issues

I have made a Simplified‑Chinese localization for your mod.
I only edited the visible UI strings, pop‑up messages and weapon display names.
**None of the core save‑parsing code and markers (`VEHICLE|`, `WEAPON|`, `END`) are edited. All original mod logic remains exactly the same, old save files work fine.**
Some vanilla weapons and all DLC weapons still show English, I didn’t add new hash branches for them. Game functions are not affected.
May I have your permission to publish this modified localized DLL on mod sites?
