You can now start working as a taxi driver in any car, including your own. The mod patches the original taxi driver scripts (controller taxi.ysc and taxi procedural.ysc), replacing the strict check to see if a car is a taxi with a list of eligible vehicle models.
As a bonus, at the Downtown Cab Co. taxi depot, you'll find cars from GTA Online with yellow taxi liveries. These models are already included in the ImprovedTaxiDriver.ini file - you can add any models from GTA 5 and GTA Online there, and even cars from installed Add-Ons.
The mod supports both Legacy and Enhanced modes but only works on version 1.73
Known issues:
Sometimes the patch may not reach the game script in time. You'll hear the conversation with the dispatcher, but the client marker won't appear on the map. This means the game script finished running before the patch had a chance to apply. Just press E again.

This feels like one step away from an Uber/Lyft mod. Just make it possible for drivers to show up in street cars when called haha

@ReNNie There are no plans to support other versions. I have to roll back my game to each version to patch the script correctly :(

Y'know since you're patching certain game scripts, could it be possible to patch the franklin races scripts to add more cars to them? like you did with this?
