VSReloaded lets you hot-reload GTA V weather, timecycle and visual settings files while the game is running. Edit a file, press a key, and see your changes instantly without ever restarting the game. - Backstory: This was made for a friend who still loves working in rafk342's editor and found the newer tools a little too complicated for what he needed. For years he relied on a plugin called "VSReloader" by an unknown author to reload his edits in-game, but that mod was taken down and stopped working on current game versions. VSReloaded is a fresh, independent tool built to bring that simple workflow back and keep it working going forward.
Features
- Live reload of timecycles for all weather types, no restart needed.
- Reload visualsettings.dat, watertune, clouds, cloud keyframes, lens flares and lightning settings.
- Loads loose files from a simple folder next to the game, so your edits stay separate from your game files.
- Only the files you actually provide are used everything else keeps loading from the game as normal.
- Configurable reload key and optional custom asset folder.
- Clean in-game notifications showing exactly what reloaded.
- Writes a log so you always know what happened.
How to Use
- Put the file you want to edit into the VSReloaded folder (for example a timecycle into VSReloaded\timecycle\).
- Launch the game. You will see a "Ready" notification.
- Edit your file and save it.
- Press F10 in-game to reload. Your changes appear immediately.
Installation
- Extract the ZIP file.
- Copy VSReloaded.asi into your GTA V folder, next to GTA5.exe.
- Copy the VSReloaded folder in alongside it.
- Launch the game and press F10 whenever you want to reload.
Requirements
- GTA V Legacy.
- Script Hook V.
- An ASI loader (included with Script Hook V).
Notes
- Only files present in the VSReloaded folder are reloaded a missing file simply keeps loading from the game's own data.
- If something ever fails to load, the log next to GTA5.exe tells you exactly what happened.

If you're experiencing issues with your timecycles not being reloaded, move your timecycle files to a directory like C:\VSR\timecycle. Only move your timecycle files, then set the directory in your `VSReloaded.ini`. :)
I'll look into what's causing this in the meantime.
