INSTALL GUIDE VIDEO

NaturalVision is the result of greatly utilizing ReShade, ENB, VisualSettings and TimeCycle files in combination with the VisualV mod. The goal was to try and make GTA5 look as photorealistic as possible. Over 400 hours of work was put into Version 2.0, which is a complete overhaul of the original mod.

Although this was built on top of VisualV's files, there have been numerous changes made to the environmental weathers, lighting, timecycle and colors in order to improve the aspect of realism. The tonemapping has also been adjusted through VisualSettings and ReShade to try and mimic how we view the real world through our eyes.

Please leave your feedback in the comments section.

This mod requires VisualV in order to properly work.
You can download it at this link.

Install guide is included in the super detailed "README" file within the download.

Currently available in English, Russian and German but additional language support will be added soon.

Please read everything carefully in the readme before commenting about an issue. There is a good amount of useful information in there that should help you troubleshoot your issues and also answer your questions.

In regards to minimum or maximum specs:
The only thing that matters is how you run currently run GTAV without mods and the FPS you're averaging. Take that and subtract the framerate by 5 or 10, depending on which version you decide to use.

    **ANNOUNCEMENT**

Hi everyone, there is a big update that I've been slowly working on for the past month. It's called "NaturalVision Remastered" and has a targeted release of late February / early March. All the weathers are modified in it, not just the extrasunny and clear weather. This update was inspired by various games including GTA4, Forza Horizon 3 and Watch_Dogs - taking the most realistic lighting aspects from those games and trying to recreate the look in GTAV's various weathers.

In v2.2 the sky colors looked very weird and did not fully represent Los Angeles, so I've gone back and recreated most of the sky/fog colors which was a lot of work. I've also increased fog density in certain weathers, adjusted the overall fog, modified clouds, tweaked ambient lighting, added godrays, modified in-game tonemapping and so much more. The ReShade stuff was also modified and there is a major performance boost. Revisiting every major weather has really helped shape this update. Even without ReShade, the mod still holds up on its own this time around and I stand by these words. I look forward to sharing it with everyone when it's ready.

You can view screenshots for NaturalVision Remastered at the following link:

All screenshots were taken at 4k resolution and then resized to my monitor's resolution. The gallery will be updated frequently so feel free to follow it. Trust me, you will like this update.

@mips and maximum resolution is 2560x1600 (which is not 4k) but you know what? forget it, 1920x1080 with 8xmsaa for screenshot is enough.

If you have a lower spec gpu with limited vram it might not support higher resolutions

Followed it perfectly step by step but does not work. I open up the game and play, I press scroll lock and I get a blank list, nothing is in the list..

So to be clear, when I press scroll lock and the presets come up, there should be a list of texture mods and re-shades below... The list is blank and taking no effect.

Re-installed and still does the same. Nothing has loaded, the mod scroll lock menu is picking up absolutely nothing... Something needs fixing

When the game starts up, it used to load 18 pieces of information, situated at the top of the screen counting down. It no longer loads these and just goes straight into the menu saying press scroll lock for bla bla bla. Why doesn't it even try to load information anymore?

Anyone have any idea? I've re-installed this 3 times now and nothing. It worked perfectly before =( Literally 0 reasons why it should be coming up blank. Literally followed each step perfectly. Why has it decided to not work now?

This might be a silly question, but can't find a straight answer. I installed Redux before I knew this existed. And I really like the looks. Can I use this with or instead of the Redux reshades? If so, how? Just write over the reshades? I don't want to break my game and have to download everything again. I like the look of Redux, but this looks better. Thanks in advance.

@Razed I got a really nice Screenshot. U might want to add it into your current gallery. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/257198381737181184/282648998324600832/GTA5_2017-02-19_00-03-29.png

@jonesgaming I take screenshots with ReShade and use 4.00x DSR with 22% smoothness. I also set Anistropic Filtering to 16x via Nvidia Control Panel and my in-game MSAA is set to 4x. This is my screenshot setup.

@Viper1791 First of all, don't give my mod a low rating if the problem is on *your* end. It's extremely rude and I just end up reporting people like you. But like you said, it was working fine before and now it doesn't work. Perhaps you added some sort of mod that is conflicting with the ReShade part. From what I understand, you can't get the ReShade to work but the timecycle and other stuff should surely be working.
If you want help then do what the FAQ / Readme says: Provide a screenshot of your GTAV game files.

@ScoobySnack I don't see the issue here. The sky isn't supposed to be pitch black until 0:00 - 4:00. From 22:00 to 23:00 there is some light bleeding into the sky, as shown in your picture.

@cs0875 Your best bet is grabbing a fresh install of GTAV and installing this. You don't have to delete your Redux folder, since you can just change the folder names around when you want to play with Redux or with NV.

@JE_Scofield I like your screenshot but I only use my own screenshots in the gallery.

@Razed The Strange is, after enable DSR Via control panel i can't use 4k through the game, only through the Geforce Experience but it could messed my settings because i use World of Variety by Cass. Also It doesn't let me to change the resolution only.

@mips hmm strange, geforce experience could change my resolution to DSR but my settings.xml in documents messed up. it always wanted to optimize my game by lowering the settings. And my gpu (750ti 2GB Ram) supports DSR

@Viper1791 Probably you installed your game in different path, open your Reshade.ini and edit the line "C:\Program Files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V" (There's another 2 Line) to your game location path
