NaturalVision Remastered (NVR) is a "work-in-progress" visual overhaul mod. Numerous changes were made to the environmental weathers, lighting system, ambient colors, tonemapping, weapons system and select textures in order to blur the line between fantasy and reality.
The goal was to try and make GTAV look visually similar to Southern California in real life. In order to achieve this, research on the Los Angeles (Los Santos) and Salton Sea (Sandy Shores) regions was conducted using hundreds of photos and hours upon hours of video footage. All of this was necessary in order to produce the most realistic visual experience currently possible with GTAV's limited game engine.
Fun Fact: More than 3500 hours have been spent working on this mod. These things take time.
The aesthetic behind NaturalVision Remastered was inspired by Forza Horizon 3, Watch_Dogs, GTAIV and a variety of other games.
Numerous visual details were taken from those titles and remade in GTAV's various weathers.
Unlike most graphics mods, NaturalVision Remastered does not rely on ReShade for its looks. This allows for players to enjoy a massive boost in performance.
There are numerous optional add-ons included with this mod, ranging from a depth of field modifier, motion blur enhancer, LSPDFR related tweaks and much more. This gives users the ability to customize the game to their liking.
It also includes an optional ENB and ReShade package, which outputs minimal effects such as sharpening and deband.
Please make sure to check everything out so that you can enjoy this mod as much as possible.
———————————————————————
Install guide is included in the super detailed "README" file within the download.
The README is currently available in the following languages:
English, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian and Korean
Please read everything carefully in the readme before commenting about an issue. There is a good amount of useful information in there that should help troubleshoot your issues and also answer your questions.
IMPORTANT You must put your GTAV display brightness at 50% for the best possible experience.
———————————————————————
With NaturalVision Remastered, your in-game performance will be about the same as vanilla.
The only thing that matters is how you currently run GTAV without mods and the FPS you receive on average.
If you plan on using ReShade then you may experience performance loss, but it's not necessary to use it anymore.
There is little to no performance loss with ENB by itself, so feel free to use that.

Optional: Install VisualV before installing this mod

@mips https://www3.zippyshare.com/v/gx0O75rI/file.html
Like i said, i have tried everything, i even ran the game from my SSD and that did nothing. Thought it was my sound card, so i uninstalled that and used on-board sound...still no difference. Maybe some of my hardware has been defective from day one? Wouldn't be surprised, my luck is definitely that bad.3 days ago -

@mips Yes 2560x1440p 60Hz Asus monitor. according to many test videos on youtube, 4xmsaa shouldn't be a problem. I even tried disabling it and enabling it in NVCP but still the micro stuttering prevails. the settings don't seem to have much impact even when they are low. fps can go from 60 to 30, mostly in the city. outside or town, stuttering, but not as bad, and consistent 60 frames.

@mips im 99% sure it does, but ill quickly check when i get home back home later.

@VisualParadox Backup your settings file and try this one https://www59.zippyshare.com/v/CWMF7FPj/file.html
If it still stutters try 4x MSAA and then 8x MSAA
In win control panel power options enable high performance power plan, in nvidia control panel set power to max performance and threaded optimisation to on.The above settings file runs at 50fps-80fps @1440p on my gtx 1060. Your gpu is more powerful so the cpu is gonna work harder and if it hits 100% usage you are gonna get stutters and gpu usage will dip, one way to get around this is to make the gpu work harder so the cpu can keep up hence me suggesting upping the msaa to 4 and the 8 which will tax the gpu more. I suggest you install msi afterburner to monitor your cpu core usage, gpu usage & framerate to test the above if you havent done so already.
Have you installed and other mods besides plain NVR?
Please try the above and let me know how it goes.

This is awesome! I'm totally new to LSPDFR please be nice to me :) I have one question. The police lights on the buildings are more like purple light. I would like top have them blue not purple. Can I change that somewhere?

@mips Hey amn, you said you had a GTX 1060 6GB and an intel i5? Thats what i have, although my I5 is a 7600k clokced in at about 3.80GHz. do you think it iwll run good?

Great work. @Razed Which of all the options did you install (cuz it still looks slightly better than mine)? I'm using NVR with VisualV, ENB only and Brighter Nights.

@mips Tried the settings file you shared, but it made no difference. Tried running vanilla and exact same result. tons of stuttering and CPU1 and CPU2 frequently cap out at 100% usage and fluctuate between 80-100%.
here is a video with performance monitoring :

@mips can you help me, please? I can't solve this error:

@VisualParadox Ok can see the stutter. What happens if you disble vsync, cap the fps to 50 in riva tuner and in task manager st the priority to high for the gta v process once it starts loading?
Hard to troubleshoot when you dont have access to the pc.8 hours ago -
@mips I have already done all that haha. When i disable vsync in NVCP and use Rivatuner, i get stuttering + screen tearing.
I understand, I have been at this for several years now and still can't figure it out, and i am pretty knowledgeable with computers. I also work in IT. Anyway, I wasn't really expecting you to fix my issue, but i always appreciate a second opinion or ideas that i might not have thought of yet.
I have given up many times and then eventually come back to try more things before giving up again (it is a cycle). Perhaps it is just time to uninstall GTA 5 and move on with my life haha .7 hours ago

First off, thanks for getting NVR to 500,000 downloads. I appreciate everyone for taking the time to try out this mod.
With that said, the new major update for NaturalVision Remastered is now available for download.
Please continue to share your feedback in the comments section.
I didn't get a chance to rework Cloudy and Smog weather yet. I'll have to do this in a future update.
Thanks and enjoy!
