Traffic Variety 1.5

This is an edit of popgroups.ymt file and the vehicles.meta file, which tells the game which vehicles to spawn in traffic. I've added in THE MAJORITY of vehicles including DLC vehicles which INCLUDES OVER 350 car types, now I have made the vehicles that spawn have a realistic touch so you don't have ridiculous Monster trucks and armoured cars driving around the city etc, so its great for realism.

I hope you like this mod, and of course it has cops cruising around patrolling the streets of Los Santos also. SO BE CAREFUL THEY ARE WATCHING YOU.

While all cars are set to spawn in certain areas that does not mean you will see them all the time. Factors such as time of day, weekend or weekday, area of the map, etc. come into play so you may see a lot of one type of car one day and not the next. That does not mean the mod is not working just that the spawns are random. Most of the high and medium end cars can be found on the highway at various times.

-Realistic car spawns to the roads so you'll find vehicles you'd normally see on the streets.

- Proper vehicle category spawns (rich cars on rich areas of LS and vice-versa)

- Cops cruising around (by car/bike and on foot)

- Added all vehicles to the freeway section so that it's possible to see a huge variety of cars in the highway.

- More variety of vehicles in the countryside too (expect to see more "exotic look" vehicles on the countryside as well)

***NOTE: YOU will need OpenIV 2.6.4 or later***

Please READ the included instructions.

--Unmarked cruisers will now patrol certain areas of Los Santos
--Unmarked cruisers will now join in pursuits at certain wanted levels
--Adjusted various spawns to make them more effective
--Fixed a few bad lines

@DENO242 Don't mind all the NULL tags. Go to the bottom until you see the "VEH_xxx" lines (line 6452 for me). It's up to you to decide which vehicle group(s) you want to add your addon vehicles to. You'll see tags like "VEH_RICH", vehicles listed under here tell the game which cars to spawn in the defined "rich" areas of the map, ie: Rockford Hills, suburbs... There's the vehicle group called "VEH_FREEWAY", vehicles listed under here tell the game to spawn these vehicles on the freeway, and so on. It's pretty self explanatory.

Now, for adding addon vehicles to traffic. Let's just say you have a Lamborghini addon that has the model name "LP700" and you want it to be part of the traffic on the freeway. What you'd do is, find the
"<Name>VEH_FREEWAY</Name>" vehicle group, then scroll to the bottom of its list. Make a new line after the last vehicle entry and put this in: <Item><Name>LP700</Name><Variations type="NULL"/></Item>. Save and done. This is what it'd look like: https://i.gyazo.com/3d7001a51e117790ee4d97171cd98a39.png Now there's a chance for that Lamborghini to spawn on the freeway.

I'd also probably add it to the "VEH_RICH" and "VEH_SUPER" classes too. It's all personal preference. Just do the same process for any other addon vehicle(s) you may have. Just replace the "LP700" from the example with the appropriate model name. Hope this helps :)

This is really good, but I think there are too many police patrols. Some of these patrols are going crazy against average peds, like every 5 minutes someone gets gunned down by the police. I don't know if that's another mod I may have. Also, I haven't seen any Armored Bank Trucks (the ones that have the blue blips) or regular emergency vehicles like ambulances or fire trucks roaming around.

@GrandCannon Yes it works, but you have to mod the cars respective vehicles.meta <frequency value= to see the car ingame, if the car has a low value, like 10 or 20, you may not see the car in traffic, I thought it wasn't working until I changed this value. Vehicles.meta is found in mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpchristmas2\dlc.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5 and if the car is added as DLC can be found inside \mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\yourcarname\dlc.rpf\data\. Tested by me...
