Dynamic Ped Screaming
About:
A script that makes NPCs react realistically and dramatically when shot or injured! Instead of taking damage silently or recovering instantly, injured NPCs will continuously scream in agony and display shocked facial expressions until they die, despawn or escape far enough away.
NOTE!
More Gore by IAmJFry is recommended to disable writhe realistically and play pain sounds while ped is dying.
Open "moregoresettings.xml" and edit these lines like this:
CanPedWrithe="False"
CanPedPlayInjuredPainAudio="True"
Peds Pain & Death Sounds Improvements by Hernancho674 for better ped sounds.
My script only plays the sounds you have in your mods/vanilla audio folder.
Should work with other ped sounds as long as they are not removed/muted.
Features:
- Dynamic scanning radius detecting injured NPCs (performance friendly)
- Continuous realistic pain screaming
- Randomized scream sound pools (mixing pain sounds & panicked ambient speeches)
- Synchronized facial shock animations
- Smart damage threshold detection to avoid triggering on minor bumps
- Automatic scream stop & cleanup when NPCs die or leave the boundary
- Optimized distance checks for smooth gameplay performance
Requirements:
- GTAV Legacy
- Script Hook V
- Script Hook V .NET (🔸Latest/Nightly Build🔸)
Using outdated versions of SHVDN may cause crashes. Use latest versions!
Installation:
Make sure to delete older versions before installing.
Drop "Dynamic Ped Screaming.dll" into your scripts folder.
If you don’t have a scripts folder, just create one in your root GTA 5 directory.
To uninstall, just remove the related files from the scripts folder.
To disable temporarily, move the file out of the folder.
