About
A simple script that allows you to make the game think you're playing with a different ped model allowing to play missions as well as various other things using any model.
I have been receiving dozens of requests in the past to upload this and after skelepap contacted me a few days ago requesting the same I finally decided to clean it up a bit and upload it. I can't even remember how many requests I have received but it's at least 100. My original intention was to keep it private (but I then uploaded it first to MediaFire on October 21, 2016 for nkjellman) since there was a .NET version of this already (which didn't really work and had to be updated each game patch; it is also deleted now) and this is some of the most basic things you can create. You guys can stop PMing me about this now :P
Requirements
ScriptHookV Visual C++ Redistributable 2013 x64
Installation
Simply drop CharacterSwap.asi and the CharacterSwap folder into your Grand Theft Auto V main directory.
Usage
Use a trainer to change your ped model first, then use this script to change the model hash.
Controls
Open/Close menu: F8
Up: NumPad8
Down: NumPad2
Select: NumPad5
Can be changed in the .ini.
Hold Ctrl to speed up scrolling

The character switching worked fine, but I now I can’t earn/spend any money. No matter how many drug deals I do, they say I have no money. It doesn’t increase or decrease. Can’t even buy sodas. Is there a mod to fix this? Please help. Thanks guys.
@NaijaMango Can you explain what you mean? Cause I can’t use money either and its frustrating.
@jaem What ya gotta do is select the character you wanna use and after switching out the hashes with the script, you have to select the character you wanna use again using a trainer. So say I load in as Franklin and want to use the MP Male over him. I'd change my model to the MP Male, use the script to switch the hashes, and then I'd reselect the MP Male model for everything to take affect.
@NaijaMango I’m new to this so I’m still learning the terms lol. How do I switch the Hashes and what exactly am I switching?
@NaijaMango I thought scripts were the mods. I can’t change scripts while in game.

@NaijaMango
Menu Explain in detail what you are explaining so that the mod works well for me, please. I can't use discor because I speak Spanish
@Kevin009 I'm not the mod creator
@NaijaMango
Well at least explain to me what is script and hashes
@jaem @Kevin009 The script allows you to change the hashes of any character model to Michael, Trevor, or Franklin. Hashes are lines of code that dictate character attributes such as money, property, etc. This means you can put Franklin's hashes on Ron or Trevor's hashes on Dave and trick the game into thinking you're playin as one of the main characters. Anything else the script does is beyond me and the creator (Unknown Modder) would have a better idea as to what ya need.
thanks
bro when i try to start gta it crashes how do i fix
my game crashes from this
everytime i select something, it just doubleclicks and ruins everything
when I switch my hash to franklin, their voices are still missing
@elsanhoty thank you dude for your help! :D imma try it...
Is there a way to replace other peds, like Lester or Lamar, with this mod? If so, can you tell me? Thanks!
The mod works good for me, the problem is that when I record a clip and want to edit it on rockstar´s editor the ped that I changed appears completely bugged. Is there any solution for that? If anyone knows please tell me and I will aprecciate it.
nice
How to keep a persistent model for the players? If I change Michael to another ped, then switch to Franklin immediately, Michael's model just resets if you switch back to him. Works but kinda pointless.
