This script will extract modded values from ANY gameconfig
and update it to the latest game version.
Support for converting Legacy to Enhanced versions.
Choose from any level of population density

How To Use:
- Extract your favorite gameconfig into 1 Old Gameconfig
- Extract you game versions gameconfig.xml into 3 Vanilla Gameconfig
- Run the script and select Extract Gameconfig
- Select Upgrade Gameconfig, Custom Gameconfig, and Traffic
- If you want Liberty City for 3411 select this
- If you want Enhanced version, select Enhanced Gameconfig
- Run Script
- Moddified gameconfig will be in folder 4 New Gameconfig

So to downgrade gameconfigs, simply provide the older gameconfig

@Mahdi1971 It all depends on what gameconfig you used. This by itself will not fix crashes, but will allow you to test more gameconfigs.

Wait, so do I have to leave it open, or should the config be already updated, and I don't have to minimize it or leave it open?
@xXHardBuddyXx You provide the vanilla version of your gameconfig and the custom gameconfig you want upgraded. The output will be a new gameconfig for your version with the custom values you gave it. Once done, you can close the program, install the gameconfig like you would any other gameconfig.

Possible to make one that downgrades?
@Exetasia theoretically it should downgrade just as easily as upgrading. Very hard to test, but anything recent should have no issue.
Maybe some memory issues come up from very early versions of the game that have yet to raise some pools to that size in the engine, but anything even remotely recent game versions should work fine as the values extracted and applied are usually always the ones raised.
As long as the gameconfig placed in folder 3 Vanilla Gameconfig is the same as your game version, it should downgrade with no problems. If you do try, please let me know the results.

@InfiniteQuestion AI does a terrible job. There are excellent tutorials on YouTube if you want to learn how to program. This didn't work for me but I'll give you points for participation.
@AlyssaAnne What didn't work for you? AI does a wonderful job creating Python code and teaching. Everyday I learn more. AI isn't the problem, just like Google you have to know what prompt to use.
