@TwixyUnleashed Sure
@theLonelyLemon I've already deleted the hitmarker texture in 0xE3E0C0B9.gfx, so hopefully it will work just fine when we can finally edit the rpf file :)
@theLonelyLemon Good News!!! I've successfully edited rd2 hitmarker texture! But we still have to wait for OpenIV to allow rpf file editing....
Right now, you can only view rpf file but not edit it on OpenIV.
the hitmarker gfx file is located in : update.rpf > x64 > patch > data > cdimages > scaleform_generic.rpf > 0xE3E0C0B9.gfx
@GoulactiX and No, I’m not taking any mod request, period
@GoulactiX thinking how long it takes is pointless, I’m not the OpenIV dev
They will update it when its ready, until then just be patience
@GoulactiX Still waiting for openIV to update their software to be able to read and edit the rpf file, until then there’s nothing i can do
@GoulactiX I don't have the game yet, because I'm planning to buy it on Steam on December 5th, and yes I'm going to try making a similar mod for RDR2
@Raketa I didn't edit any .dll file... here's the tutorial to edit gfx file : https://gtamods.com/wiki/.gfx
@themonotonescone sure man :) i do this for fun anyway, not money
@xiaozhudengwo first you have to convert the gfx file into swf (here's the tutorial : http://community.bugbeargames.com/index.php?topic=3131.0)
and then open the swf using SWF Decompiler and Editor Suite (http://ccm.net/download/download-8542-swf-decompiler-and-editor-suite)
after that, convert the swf back to gfx and put in in the game using openiv
